The Hotel was located in a very central part of Milan. The facilities were very clean. The staff was extremely helpful. The rooms were extremely spacious. The set up for the bathroom was a little bizarre in having two separate areas for sink/toilet, and the other side of the hallway having the shower. Given this set up, there was no privacy, especially if you were not a couple sharing the room. Otherwise, I felt that the facilities were excellent. The staff was extremely helpful. We had a early check out time and they arranged for us to have at least some coffee in the morning prior to leaving to the hotel. The included breakfast was also delicious and had a good variety to offer. They arranged for a taxi transfer to go to the airport. The property was also very central, close to the Duomo, the Galleria and the nearby fortress. Perfect walking distance to a lot of the major attractions as well as shopping in the area.

As I said earlier, the bathroom set up was a little unusual, which was the only negative part of the hotel.

The location is absolutely perfect. It felt like a personal space, rather than a hotel, although there could have been a bit more attention to having things like art work and the room a little more relaxed for that vibe… It was v white and a little austere in feeling when it could have been a little more comfortable. The little kitchen area is a wonderful idea but not quite the 4star - very old items and not quite complete. The breakfast area had the same vibe, there could have definitely been more attention on the space to make it feel a little warmer, less austere. The staff though were very welcoming and kind.

It’s a bit nerve wracking in the evening as to whether the front door was being released to enter. One evening i was outside for 5+ minutes trying to get in. There could be a better system for entering.

We had a room with a terrace. It was every bit as lovely as expected. We enjoyed our breakfast there and ended up spending time in the afternoon, just reading. The room itself was small, but the hotel managed this expectation so we were ok. The shower was great, hot and with good pressure, which is unexpected in such an old building. The layout of the room was well thought through and we had space for our things. The hotel is not easy to find, but we got a message ahead of time to help us with that. The location is unbeatable, right at the very center of Milan. The hotel is pricey but we felt we got the value we were after. To us, the lovely terrace in the center of a busy city was the main selling feature.

Something to be aware of. It is an old building so there are a lot of stairs. There is a very small lift, which does work, but it may take a couple of rounds to transport your suitcases in it. Another thing to be mindful of is coffee. For Italians, coffee is espresso, and they frequently struggle with the concept of american coffee, including in Starbucks. The one we had for breakfast was 4 or 5 shots of espresso in a large cup which was not possible to drink. The issue was easily resolved by switching to tea for the rest of our stay in Italy. The bed was a little too hard, but I understand the hotel is looking into it already.

We didn’t try the breakfast, so we can’t comment on that, but the location was superb! Communication with the staff was pleasant; they genuinely seem to care about their guests’ experience. For example, on our last day, since we didn’t attend breakfast, they kindly offered us coffee and cake—they truly wanted us to feel cared for. This was a 4-day romantic getaway without the kids, so we didn’t need much beyond a comfortable room and a great location. The room was compact but the perfect size for us—not too small, with a spacious terrace where we enjoyed relaxing and watching the quiet street below. The location was ideal—right in the center, walking distance to everything, yet tucked away on a side street, making it peaceful and quiet. We had an amazing vacation, and this place perfectly suited our needs. Highly recommend it for couples looking for a cozy and convenient stay.

Honestly, we were very happy with our stay and don’t have any specific suggestions for improvement. Keep up the great work and the wonderful hospitality!

This hotel is a gem. It forms part of a larger, historic building so feels special and unique. The rooms are unusual and we had a lovely big terrace that effectively doubled the size of the room. Very good, hot shower. Spotlessly clean throughout. The breakfast was just the right amount - cereals, yoghurts and fruit, as well as a basket of pastries with choice of freshly prepared eggs and a cheese and ham plate. The staff were fantastic. Very helpful and friendly, creating a really nice atmosphere in the hotel. The location is perfect for walking to the main city centre attractions.

This is just a tiny thing and obviously all about personal preference but I found the bed a little too firm.

The hotel is close to everything. You can walk to all of the sites and shopping and restaurants are very near by. We felt safe walking in the evening. The rooms are very large and the room was clean. The towel heater was a special bonus. We also enjoyed the breakfast very much.

The only improvement would be in the mattresses. They were so firm that we had to turn multiple times each night because of the stiffness of the mattress. I think the issue could be remedied with a mattress topper which is a bit softer.

Accommodation is generally quite expensive in Milan, but we were very pleased with our choice as the room was really lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the hotel location was ideal for walking all the main attractions. The staff were also very attentive, gave great advice of where to eat etc. Would highly recommend the property.

Very common with European properties, but a very old tiny lift for effectively luggage only - be prepared for stairs!

From our pre-stay dialogue through to check-out the staff were helpful, relaxed and friendly and most importantly interested in our needs. The hostess went out of her was to satisfy some laundering needs. The room was modern and spacious and the cleaning was meticulous. The hotel is well located just a short walk to il Duomo and parco Sempione. Felt at home.

I can find nothing to complain about. Felt very much at home.

Perfect location between Last Supper and LaScala. Very clean, bright rooms. Nice bathroom. Good breakfast. AC worked perfectly during our very hot stay. Very good staff!

No drawers or closets. Getting to rooms from the entrance requires climbing up six steps to get to elevator on level zero. Elevator is slow, and can support either two persons with no luggage, or one person with. Very stoic mattress and pillows.

It is so charming, parts date back to the 18 th century. Rooms have everything you need. Staff is fantastic!! They were beyond helpful and can arrange airport transport. They serve a good breakfast included .Location is beyond perfect . Major attractions within walking distance as well as restaurants snd Milan shopping. Loved it!

Not one complaint. It met our every expectation plus!
