- very comfortable king size bed - huge room with high ceilings, large clean bathroom and plenty of wardrobe space - flexible check-in and checkout using keycode - perfect location with the castle right at your doorstep, 15min walk to Duomo, and nearby public transport - charming building with old style lift and rooms overlooking the traditional Milanese courtyard

- shared kitchen was nice to have but not regularly restocked (beverages, forks)

This is a historic, almost 200- year old property with the unique charm you get from this history. At the same time, it's completely outfitted with modern decor and amenities, like the coffee-maker, electric kettle, digital temperature control, window darkening drapery, modern bathroom with towel warmer, rain shower, hair dryer, a digital safe, digital entry locks to the property, the floor and the room. Inside, the feel is warm and welcoming, quiet and serene. The staff was incredibly helpful, on-site during the day and via text all day long, super responsive. You cannot get a better location! Amazing views of the Castle, incredibly safe. I would totally recommend.

I wish it had a full length-mirror. Also, maybe an iron.

The location is 10/10. The hotel set up is key codes to get in and it all feels very futuristic. The room was so clean and felt classy. Bottled water, cokes, beers and snacks were all included , which was a nice touch. Amazing shower too. The receptionist looked after our bags the day after our stay , and when we collected them - the staff offered a reception style room with coffees / drinks , toilet and sofas available which was nice.

The only problem was the tram directly outside the window. It went on past 12am when I fell asleep , I’m not sure if it’s all night but it definitely starts up again after. The hotel provided earplugs which did the job. It wasn’t a deal breaker for me and I would 100% return - but if you aren’t a deep sleeper might not be for you.

Room was a good size for three of us. It was very clean and modern. Staff provided all the info before we arrived and it was a smooth check in process. When we arrived at the hotel reception had a person and we paid the city tax to her. They are very responsive with the WhatsApp. Hotel is located closer to the main attractions and multiple metro stations. There are large number of good restaurants in the area as well. We also appreciate the complementary snacks and beverages (water, coke and beer) they provided everyday.

The only complain (from the ladies) is that there is no good size mirror in the room.

Obviously nothing can beat the location, but the place itself leaves you satisfied, it's accessible, it's comfortable, there are complementary snacks and cold beverages provided, it's clean and It's equipped with everything for a short stay. We were working so another plus was the presence of many sockets throughout the room. And one more thing—they absolutely nailed the choice of home fragrance! The entire place smelled amazing, adding to the overall experience

For our short stay, we had no complaints! :) Just a small suggestion for future guests: make sure to request a room with a castle view. We forgot, and it was a bit of a pity to be staring at an inner courtyard while being right in front of the city's second biggest landmark.

Absolutely amazing location next to the beautiful park at Castello Sforzesco. You have lots of green in the centre of Milan. Tram and metro are just a minute away. The owner was also exceptionally friendly and the facilities were great. The soundproof windows do a great job, hence it’s quite despite the tram passing directly at the accommodation. I would highly recommend.

The rooms have wooden floors which is nice but can be very loud at times when you have inconsiderate neighbours. There were just paper cups and wooden sticks instead of proper cups and spoons which to me appears a bit cheap considering the accommodation fee - but it’s not a big deal.

The location is great, not only is it very central, it is right next to the park of Castello Sforzesco so one can just walk out and go for a run or walk in the greenery, a great plus in a city like Milan which can be at times too full of cement. The staff was very kind and helpful when available, the room was lovely, very spacious and clean and all amenities were top notch. I also enjoyed the little sitting room area where I got to do some work quietly and have a coffee.

Because it is one of those self-checkin guesthouses with PIN codes, don't expect to have staff available on site. Even during the hours where the reception is meant to be avaiable there was no one, and on my check-out day I had agreed to be back in the property, but I had to wait for someone to respond to my whatsapp to receive a PIN to go inside.

Apartment is walking distance to most of the attractions in Milano Central. Host: excellent communication, responsive, welcome drinks in mini bar - replenished daily, apartment services daily also. Apartment: Modern apartment in authentic building. All the amenities one needs. Coffee pods, selection of teas, mini bar with free drinks incl. beers and coke. TV in bedroom with Sky cable TV. AC works well. Lift to 1st floor. Multiple Security gates. The heart of Milan. Dislikes: N/A

The location was great. We were right across from the park and walking distance to the Duomo. So easy to walk to the places we wanted to visit and close to the Metro station. The staff was so great!

Location and cleanness plus safety and kind staff. We requested taxi early morning to go to the airport. My partner was a little anxious at the beginning about communication with Whatsapp. But when we went out at 5:20, the driver was already there! Thank you so much for being responsible! The place is inside of the big brown gate. Go up to the second floor that is labelled as 1st. Using the same keypad number to access the gate, the door to-the guest house and your room. Believe or not, it works so well.

The floor was a little squeaky but the other things were all great.
