Very good hotel for the category of 4 stars in Egypt. Most other 4 stars hotels are not the same. In spite of old building in tiny street but hotel room has all new amenities to the standard. Staff are so cooperative the fat man in reception and the young lady in kitchen. Good internet and air conditioning and fridge and heater in bathroom.

Sure the old building and no lift. Also the telephone net is so weak but this is because of crowded downtown area in Alexandria.

This is a family run hotel with wonderful staff who looked after me very well. The rooms are a generous size particularly as I was on my own. The hotel is situated in the old part of the city. It is easy to get around - I walked everywhere. This really is a glorious ruin of a city. Fab architecture that is literally crumbling. And very inexpensive compared to Western prices. As a Westerner you need to be prepared for a very different experience. There is a simple breakfast each morning and hot tea was offered whenever I came in from my walks. Aircon was available in the room.and the bed was comfortable. There is no top sheet provided but a rug was on the bed for overnight drop in temperatures. The bathroom was quite adequate with plenty of hot and cold water. Bottled water and toilet paper was provided although I took tissues and wet wipes. Everything is available at local Carrefour Supermarket. My grateful thanks to all staff, day and night who were so friendly and caring.And especially my driver who did a return trip to the airport to return my phone!!

I have no complaints. You have to be prepared for a visual assault walking around the city. Unfortunately, the streets are filled with much rubbish mostly plastic bags and containers and that extends into the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. However the people are gorgeous and welcoming. The new Alexandria Library is extraordinary. It really is like stepping back in time.

I liked the location, it was very close to the beach (only 3 min walking). Every thing was clean and the breakfast was good. Mr. Ashraf is a helpful descent man who responds to our all requests. They allowed us to keep our luggage for hours after checkout. We felt safe and comfort. It is a highly recommended place.

The location (excellent), and the spacious room itself, with a refrigerator and air conditioning. The staff provided me with Egyptian bread after my request.

The Wi-Fi had a strong signal but it was so sluggish that it could not be relied upon. I told them that they should upgrade the connection speed, and I hope they will. The scrambled eggs on breakfast had a funny taste, probably due to the type of frying fat used.

Room was very nice. The man on the reception, I think Mustafa was his name, was very welcoming and helpful. He even prepared us early breakfast when we had to catch our flight in the morning. Breakfast was very good. Comapre to other hotels in Egypt, it was not so cold during the night (we travelled in February).

They insist very much on paying in advance, we arrived at night and didn't have pounds, so we had to leave there 50 eur note, although we were supposed to pay around 30. But we solved everything in the morning. We agreed to have breakfast at nine. The first morning they called us to our room at eight, they woke us up early just to confirm again, that we want breakfast at nine. When it was ready, they called again and then even come to knock at our door to tell us that breakfast was ready. It was quite annoying, but I supposed they wanted to provide a good service. Anyway, we told them not to call us again and we disconnect the phone. Other mornings it was fine. The bathroom facilities are not in very good shape and it is very wet.

The Hotel owner and the staff are very helpful, trustworthy and genuine people, the hotel is very near to beach, market and public transport.

Few things, the safe in the room was not working and they could not repair it, you need to ask for the room cleaning and you need to ask for toilet paper to get one, towel were old

There is no wifi or connection in the upper stairs room, no view and no balcony.

The room was very clean and we got a good breakfast.

Unfortunately Wifi didn't work during our stay. The bathroom smelled rather musty, probably a problem with the drain.

Breakfast was simple but adequate. Location is very close to Corniche and center of the city.

Payment with a Credit Card was not possible so the only option was cash.

Everything, the best place in alexandria. In the heart of the city. Clean room , good price. The staff are so nice! They welcome us at 3am with a smile and positive energy. They take care of us until the end. Thank you
