The decor of the room was beautiful, imaginative and very minimalistic. The hotel is placed perfectly for shopping and a couple of restaurants. Also a bakery for breakfast.

The room was a bit too minimalistic, could have done with a small table or chair for our bags. We didn’t have breakfast, we thought 12 euros was far too much, and there was a great bakery nearby.

The room was very clean and nice, beds were comfortable. The bathroom seems to have been renovated recently, which added to the comfort of the room. Coffee and Tea are provided, safe and fridge too.

The room was pretty small, which I guess is pretty normal for french hotels. So I would probably not stay there if I was planning a longer stay, but perfect for short stays.

After turning down/leaving a risky looking and unclean apartment we had booked (dangerous stairs with no railings, steep stairs to the loft, difficult parking, etc.), we were tired and hungry after a long and taxing day. This hotel welcomed us with open arms and deluxe accommodations. The price for two pretty and spacious rooms was very fair, and the excellent and helpful receptionist was very appreciated. The location is great, right around the corner from restaurants, museums, and shops. We slept quite well and quietly here, even on a busy street, with great shutters and effective curtains. Having an available parking space right in front was also a fantastic bonus.

The smell in the reception area, at times, was a little unpleasant. I waited for my parents there.

Great location. Great, friendly staff. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel!

We don't love the current trend of not providing a closet in hotel rooms. Here, in particular, it would be very easy to use part of the largely-unused built-in shelving space as a place to hang a few garments (as opposed to having them hang off a pipe right next to the bed). Using the shelving space in that way would still provide room for the safe and refrigerator (which is so tiny as to be fairly useless), and the coffee machine could easily be relocated to the desk or elsewhere in the room.

I had the best time. Amazing and charming hotel right in the city center. Everything in walking distance. 1 minute to restaurants, cafes, cute little shops. 10 minutes to the train station. Super friendly employees that gave me great recommendations and even upgraded me. Really extraordinary. Thank you so much for the amazing time!

My room was a bit noisy the second night (people walking by in the hallway and water from the aircon from the appartment above dripping on my window board) but it wasn’t too bad and they would have offered ear plugs in case you need them

Great view , great beautiful locations. You can also visit the chapel Saint Croix located in the hotel. The staffs are super kind and helpful. Free parking offered . You have to try the restaurant at the hotel. One of our best experience in salon en Provence.

The faculties is a little outdated in the room but it’s an ex-abbeys so we didn’t expected a modernity . Would be great to have a new air-conditions.

Compact, modern and clean twin room that had everything we needed for an overnight stay - including the bonus of a fridge, safe and tea/coffee in the room. It was about a 15 minute walk from the bus station when we arrived late in the evening, and a shorter walk into the city the next day. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and we were able to store our luggage for a few hours after checking out to make the most of exploring the city.

Good layout and excellent location value. This was basically the perfect spot from which to explore Aix, walkable from the train station, and you can walk to the other side of Aix, too, from the hotel.

The room was pretty small, and it had one of those itty bitty french elevators (my wife took the stairs, I rode up with baggage, no biggy).

Room was very cozy, personally I extremely liked the wicker elements in interior - they make it look so fresh to the eye and so unlike typical hotel room. The hotel is located within walking distance from museums and main street with variety of great restaurants. The staff is friendly

Our room was not very quiet, but only because we got the one facing the street - and the hotel is located next to a big road. On summer nights room gets extremely hot, air conditioning can take care of that, but if you for any reason cannot sleep with AC it could become a problem

I attended a French language course. La Caravelle was very conveniently situated for the course and also for the town. Opposite a supermarket, round the corner from great shops, supermarkets, bars, and restaurants. The staff were excellent, rooms well equipped and very clean.

All good
