Wow!! What a beautiful place! From the beginning to the end, everything was exceptional. We have done a lot of travel and stayed in basic and amazing accommodation, and this was amazing. It is located in an architecturally cool and interesting house and occupies a top wing of the home offering views of Kapiti Island. It was spacious with 2 seating areas and a large walk in wardrobe. The attention to detail was lovely, a stocked fridge with soda, and reusable glass bottled milk, fresh orange juice, and a choice of still filtered water or carbonated water. We had fresh baked cookies, cherries, cashew nuts, and pretzels to nibble on. The bathroom had a great shower with a heated towel rail, lovely fluffy towels, and toiletries, including makeup remover. There were ample interesting books to read. The walk-in wardrobe had robes to use, selection of pillows and fluffy cozy blankets. The sheets were fine, and the bedding lovely. It was a nice surprise to find our room had been serviced even though we only stayed 2 nights. There actually wasn't anything that this place lacked, and it surpassed any expectations. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful property in a great location close to the beach and local shops and restaurants! Bright and airy with great views of Kapiti Island. Furnished and equipped to a very high standard with fantastic attention to every detail. Provided with a wide selection of continental breakfast options, all beautifully presented. Sharon and Darren are great hosts - welcoming and very friendly.

There is nothing to dislike!

The garden room was outstanding, it opened on to a beautiful peaceful garden. The perfect getaway for a relaxing place to just sit, read, and enjoy your surroundings in such a lush setting. What is so unique is that it has the feel of being in a rural part of the country yet you are within a three minute walk to the village where you have so many choice restaurants. The garden room was outstanding, with everything one needs for a delightful stay. We stayed three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Thank you!

Really can’t think of anything

Sharon, Darren, Rubles, Lily, the accommodation and the way we were looked after. We loved the very comfortable bed and the crisp sheets. It was lovely to wake each morning, open the curtains and see the view of Kapiti Island and the sea. The chocolate bunnies were an extra special treat - it was Easter. We look forward to returning again next year.

Misunderstood booking conditions. Thought First Floor Bed and Breakfast would automatically provide bed AND breakfast but discovered that is only applicable for stays of more than 1night.

Amazing view of Kapiti island, great room set up, facilities and breakfast menu. The location is one block back from the beach, and right next to the local shops. Sharon was lovely and looked after us so well. We'd book again anytime.

The apartment was stylish and thought had been given to every detail, from decor to fresh fruit . The complimentary drinks in the fridge was a nice touch too. Our hosts were friendly and it didn’t feel like we were intruding in their home . The garden was lovely to relax in too

Everything about this property was exceptionally good. Couldn't get better hosts. Breakfast was better than our own. Everything you could ask for was provided. Location to the Paraparumu beach shops was excellent within 2 mins walk. Would recommend to all.

Everything. Stayed 3 times and always amazing! Beautiful decor, delicious breakfast with added special touches. So comfortable and relaxing. Love this place :-) Hosts are awesome.
