The small Town was beautiful choice to stay. Lovely quaint old traditional town interesting buzzy all round great. The hotel was easy to stay at food drink available seemed a popular place to visit for people it was quite busy in the evenings easy to get to fish chip shop around the corned central location to explore the area fab
The room was OK bathroom small with no shelves or counter top for shampoo creams shower gel made bathroom harder work when using very limited space in bathroom

Exceptional comfort the beds are like cotton clouds. One week of peace comfort and calm whilst our son did his GCSE exams. We had a wonderful time in Stratford Upon Avon Watched Merry Wives of Windsor at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre had visited the sites in Alcester where Shakespeare married and wrote As You Like it. Met wonderful ex students from the 1960s who went the very same school as our son in this celebration of a gem Tudor Alcester. The staff exceptional service absolutely care and the people all friendly, taught and played pool with our son and darts. Wonderful food and location to everything.

Placed in the muddle of an estate , but a lovely area, shops close by in walking distance . Room was big and spacious, could do with curtains at window as blind let in the lights around pub making room light , but we used clothing to cover window, food excellent we had family meal for 14 people everyone was pleased with food, big portions and at great prices.
Just needs curtains at window as the blind let in a lot of light at night

Booked this hotel as a base to attend the midlands air festival. Manager allowed us to leave our belongings earlier than check in and put the things into our room ready for our return. We didn't eat in the restaurant as we had a busy few days. On arriving back to the hotel at night the place was lively and looked great fun and if we hadn't had our 9 year old son we would of definitely stayed and had a few drinks and enjoyed the night with locals. You couldn't hear music from the room so this didn't affect your sleep. Bed was bigger than ours at home and room had everything we needed. Decorated lovely bright white towels provided. Was quite shocked at how nice it was as we read reviews before hand which i feel don't do the place the justice it deserves.
Liked everything.

I booked a single room, but when I got here, I was upgraded to a double at no extra cost. The bar downstairs has a good variety of beers, wines, ciders and spirits and also live entertainment at the weekend!!! The food is fantastic, with massive portions and cheap prices. The room was very clean and inviting. Mine was a double with an en-suite shower, very powerful and hot, lovely and clean. The bed was comfortable, decent storage around the room, a tv and a desk/dressing table with a mirror in front if you need to touch up your makeup. The town it's situated in is lovely around a 2 minute walk from the local shops and chip shop. Children's play area on site if needed. All in all a very nice stay, I even extended by 3 nights!

The room was spacious being an accessible room as I was on crutches due to a broken pelvis. Plenty of clean towels. Room was nice and clean.
There was no hairdryer as stated on the booking. The TV remote barely worked needing loads of pressure on the buttons and the power button did not work at all. I had to turn the TV on manually underneath. You wouldn't reach if in a wheelchair. Very thin walls and loads of noise from other rooms and patrons leaving the pub all night.

The reviews I read beforehand were wide-ranging in their comments. In my experience, Alcester Inn provides basic accommodation to a high standard and I found the staff were approachable, helpful and professional. Thanks for a pleasant and restful stay.
A shelf and a towel rail in the bathroom and and some kind of basket in the shower cubicle would be useful, as would a couple of coat hooks near the entrance door.

Large clean simple room. No frills. Easy check in and lots of free parking. Meals and breakfast are low cost. We didn't have either so don't know about quality. Staff friendly and helpful.
Could do with a shelf in the bathroom and maybe something in the main room so your stuff isn't decorating the floor. Walls are thin so if you have someone bellowing into their phone next door you will hear every word or a clog dander upstairs you will suffer. Not really the fault of the hotel but it's low cost so what do you expect. Bottom line...If I had to go back to Alcester which is a really nice place I would stay there again but maybe ask for a 1st floor room.

Room was clean and food was great. Busy 'social club' building with rooms attached. That said, there was no noise from around 11pm so sleep wasn't disturbed. Lots of parking available.
My daughter is gluten free. Whilst staff did everything to accommodate this, it seemed like an unusual ask, and a challenge. It was mentioned that they were going to improve on this, and create a Gluten Free menu - this is a must - this should be the norm nowadays, rather than dining being somewhat of a challenge. I would also expect that when the setting is fully booked with rooms, perhaps ask if guests will be ordering breakfast, and rota staff in accordance - breakfast was busy, and slow, although well worth the wait!

Easy to find, located in a quiet area with plenty of free parking. The room was clean, comfortable and offered plenty of space, with a fair size TV, plus good powerful shower. The staff were exceptional being very friendly and helpful, There was an option of a full English breakfast at an extra cost which I took and was worth every penny.
Only a nit-pick really, the en suite had no shelf provided for a wash bag, which thus had to be kept in the bedroom.
