The view🤩 We got room at 21th floor and it has amazing view! From our room we saw sea, beach, the green hill, favels and the Christ statue also! But when you lie on the bed and look to the window you have totally seaview, only the sea😍and it is nice idea to put the mirror infront so you see there reflection of the hill or Christ above favels - like a painting- sooo beautiful! Btw there is no sunrise or sunset above the sea - it is above the hills in this area (at the May at least). Also i liked fruits variety on the breakfast and dinners, desserts on the dinners. And dinners - 7/9, two was bad.

the breakfast, my expectations were higher. it is ok, but not “very good” as it was written on the description. the lines to the eggs cooked right for you or tapioca, and also all fresh cooked dishes (eggs and tapioca) wasn’t good prepared((( always had bad smell of rancid oil((( the beach is not super close, you need left the hotel and cross the road! but it is ok for Rio’s beaches as i know the windows with such an awesome view should be clean

one of best options at Rio de Janeiro, cost benefits is above average ! hotel is really beautiful we have stayed there before and all the time experience is wonderful. Location at Sao Conrado is between Barra da Tijuca and Leblon which for me is strategic location to be near by everything...there is subway nearby and Uber and Taxis are also available. for this this hotel has the most beautiful rooms of Rio, i have been in many others in Rio and no one is good as this one...great yo be with Kids too, with Recreation

for me this hotel is a place to spend time on, Pool is Amazingly beautiful, but Drinks are not great, i would suggest instead order a beer or wine to get a better experience: for Hotel crew i would recommend improving the staff who prepare the drinks..it could be a strength as i see this is a problem with several other vacation hotels in Rio.

Location is perfect,across the beach and on transport route to any tourist spot in Rio

The language barrier is real-the staff speak limited English.Fully understand it is a Portuguese speaking country so that is that. no hotel towels allowed for use at the beach for guests which is a bummer as this is a hotel by the beach.

The hotel has a great location, right next to the beach (You literally just cross the road) Super safe, we didn't feel threatened at all, different from visiting Ipanema or Copacabana. It's also near a small shopping mall which is great. The room was spacious with a spectacular view of the ocean and the Rocinha favela. Would definitely re-visit. The pool was very nice too, it could be bigger or with an infinity border. Oh and the Sushi place on the 30th floor is amazing with very reasonable prices!

There was a day where they had a tent selling (espetinho) which is a meat skewer, they were selling it at 40 reais, which is more than 8USD. Also, on a specific day, the lunch was costing 300R$ per peson 60$~ which I also found very expensive for the quality. In general, things to buy in this hotel were very overpriced.

This was a beautiful hotel on a lovely property off the beaten track situated on a beautiful and quiet stretch of beach. Great food, wonderful pool deck, spacious lobby and bar area. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Masi, the restaurant on the top floor served some of the best sushi I've ever tasted.

Just wish that more staff spoke English - all front desk staff did. Wish I had purchased a Portuguese language guide as very few people in Rio spoke English. Having said that, the people were pleasant and Obrigado and hand gestures were helpful at times to communicate our needs.

The first time I came here I totally loved it - I’m a big Niemayer fan and was keen on seeing the restoration from the inside. Beautiful comfortable rooms with incredible views are the highlights.

The food wasn’t great and was very expensive for what it was. I arrived on a Sunday and there was a DJ playing terrible music really loudly and so that was also off putting as before I’ve loved using the pool. It was also very full. I think people can go just for the day so it fills up, which made it far less tranquil and luxurious feeling as it had in the past. Not sure I’ll go again as it’s very expensive, even with a reduced rate and there are nicer places to hang out in Rio.

Generally it is a very nice hotel, well situated by the beach and the rooms and facilities in them are excellent. The lift system works well with 4 being available at all times.

Some of the staff can't even speak basic English which is a little frustrating. Water and soft drinks should be included with dinner. There are not enough parasols and chairs on the beach and most are in really poor condition. Also not enough sun loungers and parasols around the pool. There should be covers on the sun loungers in the garden area above the pool. The music in the morning doesn't need to be so loud and club/dance orientated. No problem in the afternoon/evening.

The breakfast selection is incredible, there’s a lot of security to feel safe, the lobby is huge and very calm. The room is very spacious and clean, i love the low light’s and how cozy they make the room look, and elegant as well. We choose the mountain view and since the hotel has a circle format we were very fortunate to also be able to see the beach.

They don’t offer gym towels and i think that isn’t very hygenic in my oppinion. The sauna wasn’t clean for the week i stayed and by the look of it it needed a big deep clean.

Possibly one of the nicest rooms ever to stay with the family . Amazing views , ample room (approx. 100m2 - Look for the Suite Nacional ) . Beach in front of the hotel was also nice and not overcrowded. Good breakfast, clean room. Friendly and nice staff.

Hotel employees were trying to sell an investment (some sort of room co-ownership, I suppose) right at the check-in and also near the restaurant. This approach seems incompatible with the hotel proposition. While the staff involved was polite, the approach itself is unfit - better just leaving a card in the room with something like ' do you know you can own this room ? call XXX to know more if you are interested ". You just don't randomly annoy your guests instead.

Love it! Beautiful property, rooms nice, big and clean. All rooms have amazing view so you for sure going to enjoy it. Also great quiet location. You can get to main places in 5min by Uber and enjoy more quiet and personal time. Breakfast is pretty good and the lobby restaurant. Also they have absolutely upstanding restaurant on the 30 floor! Highly recommended! Drinks at the pool very nice as well. And they have life music at the pool! Over all amazing experience, if I ever back to Rio may stay there again.

There are just small things. Nobody but front desk speak any English. I had an issue with pool towels, after I used my towel for a couple ours at the beach and wanted to change it, they were saying to me it’s only one towel per day:/ I had to argue and it’s was unpleasant moment. I don’t understand what’s the problem with refreshing towels. And at last in French fries I ordered by the pool was a hair. They change it of course. But also fries was suppose to come with sous by there was none.
