We were celebrating a birthday on the day we arrived at Killurin and we came with our own wine and charcuterie fixings to enjoy a quiet evening in. Clare set out wine glasses for us and cleared us a spot in the dining room for our little celebration. It was much appreciated. There was a pub within walking distance, and we saw some of the other guests heading that way, but we happily stayed in.
It seemed there was no comfy common room to sit and relax on a couch or in cozy chairs. The owners were watching TV in what may have been that room, but with the door shut so it seemed off limits. The bed was not the most comfortable and the instructions left directing us to take quick showers was a little off-putting.

Killurin Lodge was very, very clean, very friendly and well run. The bed was very comfy and we slept well. The little cup cakes, in the room, were a lovely touch. This B&B isn't really close to Wexford, or Enniscorthy, but, the bus is very cheap, and, though it only runs every 3 hours it appears to run very close to schedule at weekends. We're looking forward to going to the quirky old, traditional pub next door, the next time we go.
Didn't get the idea of having to pay 'extra' for a mini or full Irish brekky. Maybe it would better to add €5 or €7 to the cost of the night.

Where to begin with this beautiful B&B. We were made to feel so very welcome from the moment we arrived. Our bedroom overlooked the immaculate garden where we could watch the birds on the various feeders. The bedroom and en suite were spotless and very comfortable. There was fresh water from the well in the garden which tasted wonderful. The “full Irish” breakfast was fresh, delicious and piping hot.
Wished we could have stayed longer, next time we book, we definitely will!

Set in a delightful house boasting a beautiful garden teeming with birds and even chickens, this accommodation instantly resonated with warmth and charm. From the moment we entered, with a dedicated breakfast room in sight, we were certain of a delightful stay. Our room was well-appointed, exuding comfort and cosiness. Breakfast was an absolute dream, especially when enjoyed with views of the garden; the service was friendly, and the spread was generous. Clare, our hostess, showcased utmost attentiveness and warmth, ensuring we felt welcomed and cared for from the get-go. A special mention to the water sourced from their very own spring. We wholeheartedly recommend this abode. Furthermore, a visit to Wexford and especially the Ireland Heritage Center is a must!

The very friendly host..Claire treated us so well! As well as a continental breakfast she offered to cook us an Irish breakfast with eggs from her hens & kept fresh drinking water from the well in a fridge for her guests! ! Nothing was a trouble & Claire chatted with us about her home, her lovely cat & the local pub Marty B's where we had dinner. It is within walking distance from the B&B & is a good place to meet the locals!! We would recommend Killurin Lodge if you like a home away from home!
The rainy, windy day we were leaving!

Fresh spring water from their own well available in fridge 24/7. Home baked muffins in room. Tea/coffee facilities in room - which a lot of places have now dispensed with. Beautiful garden. Cooked breakfast was delicious in addition to continental breakfast advertised. Fantastic hosts who went out of their way to make me feel welcome.
There was nothing really. Perhaps an armchair but not a priority and it didn't detract from my stay. Again, there was nothing that would have been expected in accommodation in that price range.

Clare was a fabulous host and couldn’t do enough for us. we were offered a cooked breakfast at no extra charge which along with the tea, bread, toast, cereal, fruit and yogurts kept us going all day. The gardens are lovely and it was a pleasure to watch and listen to the wildlife. The pub at the end of the drive was great and very handy. we had dinner there on our second night to save the drive into Wexford (though it’s not really very far at all) and the cost and quality were fantastic. There is also a petrol station/convenience store next to the pub which was very useful.
The fan in the shower/toilet was very noisy and along with the sign saying not to leave it running too long as it might burn out had me a little nervous! I had to go to the loo in the middle of the night and used my phone torch rather than turn it on. but to be honest the one in my own house isn’t much better!

Killurin Lodge is set in a lovely garden setting. Clare was helpful with local knowledge and very welcoming. A homemade muffin on arrival was a lovely touch. The breakfast was home cooked and generous, the bed comfortable. There is a pub locally (within easy walking distance) where we mixed with locals and ate a pub meal. Would recommend to others.
Can’t think of anything.
