Everything. The location, of course, with our window on the third floor open on the small square at the lake side, offering a magnificent view of the lake, the villages at the opposite shore and the mountains behind. But also the room itself, simple quite and elegant, in perfect lake style. The personnel was also very nice. The hotel does not have parking, but there is paid parking on the street in front of the hotel and, even more interestingly, there is free parking on the same street, about 400 meters from the hotel.

The hotel is a three star, with the facilities typical of a three star hotel, which is not per se negative, but do not expect facilities of a luxury hotel. In fact, the luxury is in the location itself.

We had a beautiful view of the lake from our balcony! The location was right in the main plaza and close to many restaurants, cafes, gelato, and shopping. It was only about a 10 minute walk to the ferry station too. The staff were incredible and helped answer many questions I had before we went and during our stay. It was our first time in Italy, and they helped connect us to taxi services from the airport to the hotel, made dinner reservations for us, and helped us better understand the ferry timetables. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable!

The bed was quite firm, but I laid some extra blankets down and it was a little better.

The location of the hotel was brilliant. The room was just exceptional. The breakfast was also great. However, what was truly wonderful was the staff. We have stayed across at Bellagio and were lucky to be greeted with a smile. The staff here were helpful, went out of their way to understand what you liked and your preference of coffee each morning. The small things just done well. The room, the view Wow, wow, wow. Just loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you so much x

There was nothing we didn’t like!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming hotel right on the main square in Menaggio. My room was beautifully appointed and featured a balcony with breathtaking views of the lake — a perfect spot to unwind and soak in the scenery. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Breakfast was generous and delicious. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Menaggio.

The location could not have been better! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful at every turn, to the point that they brought in a family member to drive some of our group to the golf course when taxis weren’t available! The rooms were very nice and cozy, and all toiletries and adapters were on hand if needed.

I wish there was a common area for guests to hang out in since we had a large group of people for a wedding but nowhere to gather in between activities or to hang out when it was raining.

This was our first stop in Italy and our favourite stay. Menaggio is a MUST if visiting Italy and this accomodation is the place to be. Although the hotel is not very new and modern, I would definitely stay again due to the most incredible location. You are staying in the main piazza, facing the main lake. Beneath the hotel are two incredibly restaraunts where we spent our entire day just staring at the water. Would be nice for the hotel to renovation and upgrade their rooms however the location makes this so worth while. There is also a public swimming pool 5 minutes down the road which we found out about on our last day that we wished we knew about sooner.

Charming hotel. Great location on a small piazza overlooking the lake. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. A short walk to the ferry. The hotel staff were warm and friendly. Our room was smallish, but cosy, clean and had two French windows with stunning lake views. The tourist information office is just downstairs and the lovely officer there provides great advice about what to see and do, as well as ferry and bus information, all with a great sense of humour.

Really convenient location, right next to the main square and a 7 minute walk to both the bus station and ferry port. Modern room, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and good shower pressure. Staff were really friendly and helpful, we bought a bottle of wine from a local shop and the receptionist provided us with wine glasses and a corkscrew. We stayed as the first stop on our honeymoon and they left rose petals and chocolates in the room which was a nice touch. Room on the top floor also had a private balcony with a lovely view of the lake. Lots of choices for restaurants nearby - highly recommend Pasticceria Cassera Moretti for great coffee, pastries, focaccia and cannoli, and La Trattoria next door for pizza and Divino 13 for dinner.

It has everything you need for a break when you are out exploring most of the time, no complaints

We had such a lovely stay at Hotel Garni Corona. To be honest, the room exceeded my expectations! I really loved the lake view we had, as well as how big the room is, and the variety of toiletries available. Most hotels we stayed at in Italy didn’t include conditioner, but this hotel had that, and even a soap for intimates (have never seen that before at any hotel). The breakfast was also great. Loved the cold cuts, fresh orange juice, and the cappuccinos. It’s nice that breakfast is from 7:45-10:15 so it’s a big timeframe.

The only thing I would seek to improve is the WiFi strength. It was great on the first floor where breakfast is located, but it was really unstable in our room on the third floor.

Perfect hotel ; great location to bars , restaurants, ferry port & bus stop. We had a beautiful double room on 4th floor with a view of both the countryside and the lake (side) . Lots of space ; big bathroom too ; well equipt ; really tastefully decorated / modern decor. Staff polite & courteous. Breakfast is basic continental. the croissants & cappuccino are delicious though! The ladies who work in the breakfast room are super friendly, polite & efficient!.
