Quaint mid-century style property with a huge, clean pool in the middle of the lush courtyard. Ample, comfortable tables, chairs, couches and a ton of lounge chairs. The breeze-way was a favorite spot to people watch. Our room was giant, plenty of room for 4. We had a large balcony with seating. Our room included a kitchenette with full sized fridge. You can also reserve a gas grill or flat top (Blackstone type) griddle. More seating on the deck area surrounding the cooking huts. Really a nice place for families to make something to eat. The location was perfect. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy a little peace but close enough for easy access to everything. The beach is right across the street. The hotel has the charm of old Florida but is completely updated. So happy to have found it. Cleanliness is a top priority and Isalnd House is one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed. And we are seasoned travelers. We will definitely be returning. Every staff member was amazing and accommodating. Happily passing out beach towels if you forgot yours. Don't pack pool floats because they have plenty to use. All around a fantastic place to stay.

If there was one thing I could change, it would be to slap this place directly on the beach.

Clean, beautiful and comfortable rooms. Wonderful staff and steps away from the beach. We flew to Florida so we had limited space to bring beach essentials. The hotel provided actual beach towels ( not tiny white hotel towels) and had beach chairs, boogie boards, toys etc. that you could sign out and take with you to use on the beach. We spoke with the owner who was very friendly and welcoming - there are some great restaurants and cafes within walking distance and endless options that are just a short drive. Exceptional service! We will be returning!

Pool closed at 9:30pm. Thought it should at least be 10pm. That is my only critique....lol

The staff was very friendly, the owner made sure we had everything we needed and it was very clean. The location was awesome. Everyone was very accommodating and helpful. The pool was great and they had so many extras for the beach and pool. This place is really a gem!

The bedframe was slightly too small for the mattress, so if you laid on the side of the bed, it felt like you were rolling/ falling off the bed. We could also hear our neighbors TV very late at night. Other than that, everything was fantastic!

The owner was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. All the staff were so nice and accommodating for us. The rooms were a great size, loved the sitting area for morning coffee. Everything was clean and neat. Service was excellent! Location was great for beach and all restaurants and activities. Also was nice to support small business and would definitely go back again.

Great staff very helpful, location, great facilities, they even have grills that you can use, hotel provides chairs and umbrella otherwise they would cost 30 USD on he beach so it is a great help. Free coffee and tea. Very clean, modern, it is almost a perfect place. Washing machine available on the site. Price is somewhat competitive for what they offer comparing the rest of the options in the same area.

The air conditioning unit is by far the loudest I have encountered in any motel or location. Also keeping the room cool about 73f ~ 23C had to keep the unit running pretty much non stop so it was not very pleasant during the night. The room has an almost full kitchen it is missing an oven which you can live without it but since is rented as a small apartment it would have been perfect to have it for some bakeries :) in the morning.

HIDDEN GEM! Everything was great. I was pleasantly surprised and extremely pleased with our stay. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and smooth. They provide beach towels, chairs, floats, etc which was nice since we arrived via airplane, with limited room. Beach access across the street with easy access, safety button to push for pedestrian warning and stopping traffic to cross the street. My son is 17, we both like the retro atmosphere. Pool 3’ to 9’ deep. Cleanliness was 10 plus!!! Kelly was awesome and delightful to work with, we will be back!

No snack vending machine for late night cravings. But not a problem once we settled in and made a run to the grocery store.

We (2 adults and 1 teen) loved the location! Easy access to the beach its right across the road and there is a cross walk in front of the hotel so no worries about crossing the street. The staff are amazing and helpful. Plus there is coffee and tea available in the office. No need to pack beach towels, chairs, or umbrellas they already have it for your use in the office. Thank you for that! The room was well equipped for fixing food and enough space to not feel cramped. There are BBQ grills you can use with tables near by to fix a meal. The pool was nice and clean. There are plenty of eateries within walking distance and many just a few minutes drive away. Overall this is a nice property with very friendly helpful staff. I'm glad I choose to stay here. I will return to stay again and again.

Very clean and close to the beach! Housekeeping/Front office staff where Super Nice! There are beach toys/chairs available to borrow.

Not very kid friendly- in the sense of this is more of an “older” crowd that seemed to be a bit bothered by my 5 and 8 year old going in the pool. Other than that - this Hotel is Fantastic! The pool could be a little more on the “heated” side. The bed headboards were noisy getting in/out of bed plus the mattresses were a lot harder than I am use to.

At arrival, during the Christmas season, my mom and I were greeted with a beautifully decorated, Florida hotel in the holiday spirit. The staff was so lovely and the room was exceptional, large and extremely clean. I couldn’t say enough great things about out this place. Plus, it’s directly across from beach access, great restaurants and more. Just what we were looking for. Thank you Island House!

We loved everything and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. One small thing is that the heated pool could have been a bit warmer. People didn’t seem to really mind though.

This was perfect about £170 a night a lovely huge room 2 x king beds, with kitchenette with everything you needed in! Pool was fab and 9ft deep one end which boys loved! Plenty of sunbeds for use. Pool area had bbqs which you could use for free and so many lush lounge areas. Beach towels and beach chairs were provided so we didn’t incur the $35 charge to use the ones on the beach! The staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Plenty of restaurants and takeaways in walking distance and the liquor store to. The best bit was the fact that the beach was literally across the road and what a beautiful beach. It was white sand clear blue Sea, an amazing sunsets! Not crowded either a real gem.
