The location is beautiful. The pub is lovely and the staff are friendly. The bed was very comfy and the room was cosy, we had a good nights sleep. The private garden area off the room was a nice surprise. The room had everything you could need. There was plenty of parking. The bar area is really welcoming and it was lovely to sit with a glass of wine after a long day of driving.
The room was a bit rundown and the floors were a bit dirty. The bathroom was mouldy in places. Nothing too major but it would benefit from a bit of TLC. It wouldn't put me off staying again though.

Place was as per the reviews 10/10. Stunning room huge bathroom with walk in shower. Modern king size bed clean cosy warm just perfect. The pub food was excellent. We had lunch and dinner here with a long walk inbetween. It was so relaxing what we needed. Highly recommend the 80 min walk to The barn , bottle and glass Inn. Coverted barn into pub/ cafe/ restaurant cracking . Arrived at 1230 and allowed early check in no added charges. We will be back !
Absolutely nothing. I see a few groans about no breakfast 25 mins walk is The Herb Farm a garden centre with a decent cafe. Again would highly recommend

The room had a little garden attached to it. Must be lovely in the summer. Easy parking. Strong shower with hot water. Very quiet at night, good place for deep sleep. Amazing pub with top class food. I had the best goat cheese salad with homemade bread and chips and my partner chicken. The new chef is very friendly.
The last 10 minutes journey to the pub was on rubbish roads, the pub feels a bit in the middle of nowhere. The carpets were super dirty and the toilet could have been cleaner.

Very comfortable and clean room with a good sized bathroom. Excellent king sized bed. Very dog friendly, including a decent sausage for her at breakfast. Great landlord and friendly staff. Nicely kept Brakspears.
At almost £150 per night, this is quite pricy. I was disappointed to find out later that if I'd booked on my phone rather than my desktop computer, there would have been quite a substantial discount. The restaurant area was cold on the night we arrived and we had to ask the staff to put the heating on. Only a very short menu, so we didn't eat there on the second night of our stay.

A small friendly pub with great beer and excellent food. The accommodation was first class, big rooms and great facility, somebody has really thought about the quality of the rooms. We were cycling with four of us staying and they also had a secure patio in one room where we kept the bikes. Just a great place...wish we could've stayed longer.
Nothing - it really was a great place.

Excellent caring staff, and a lovely room with it's own walled garden (maybe slightly careworn) Beer was excellent, and reasonable price by modern standards. The location can be a little challenging to reach with my sat nav taking me through roads more akin to country paths on the way in and out. The pub itself is in a nice village.
Booking.com deciding I'm from Georgia? Definitely not the New Inns fault....

Nice old English pub with rooms. Comfortable bed and good shower room. Excellent breakfast and well cooked evening meal even though the menu was much reduced. Dining room area was comfortable and nicely decorated.
The property was due to change owner in a couple of weeks so there was only a limited evening menu which they did not tell us about when we booked a table/room there just two days before, could have been very disappointing if we were fussy eaters. Also apparently we were ‘upgraded’ to a better room at no extra charge (not sure if this was down to the owners or Booking.com), but as there was only one other guest this was a little bit disingenuous. Bedroom decor was serviceable but tired. Only powdered coffee in the room. All in all this was overpriced accommodation compared to other places we stayed in the local area.

We arrived quite late and a little hungry, nothing was too much bother. The staff made me and my partner a sandwich with crisps and brought it to our room! the room was beautiful. We had our own little private court yard!! It's safe to say this will be our regular whenever we visit in the future
nothing to report! The staff, location, room cleanliness was perfect

This is a lovely pub, set in the village. Ashleigh who runs it was amazing, nothing was too much trouble for her, even though she was on her own, doing everything from bar tending, cleaning and cooking meals....if this was in my village I would be very happy, shame we live a 3 and half hour drive away!

Very cosy and comfy. Staff were lovely, helpful and welcoming. They went the extra mile to have the room ready for us. Great to be attached to the pub.
No facility for breakfast. Bathroom was a bit dark as one of the lights out. Small thing but would be good to have soap dispenser in the bathroom.
