Great hotel, in a fantastic location, just a short (7 minutes) walk from reading train station. Check in was swift, and nice touch of free chilled water in reception. Staff were friendly throughout. Room was more spacious than other easyHotels I've stayed in. Facilities all worked fine, and the air con was a welcome surprise.

The blinds on the windows could be fixed a bit tighter, I was on the front ground floor room, so had to prop something against the blind to hold it against the window, as otherwise people out the front could see into the room, but didn't affect anything with the prop in place.

I was relieved that I managed to book the hotel at short notice, as it was between 9.40pm- 10pm, which was EasyHotell. It was so handy for me upon arrival around 10.40pm I was greeted by a member of staff who was very friendly and I felt welcomed. The room was reasonable size it met my needs. However, the only problem was the shower glass door, which came of its rail, which could off been a serious incident. However, I managed to unscave and avoid injury. The other problem would be that customers should respect others as by the time I settled down, which was 1.30am I heard a man & and a woman shouting very loudly. My conclusion would be for the few hours I spent at Easy Hotel. The price was right. It met my needs, including parking and good amenities of the premises. I can honestly say that overall, I was pleasantly surprised and would come back here again whenever I am passing through, and I would recommend others as well. Thank you. Ps Easy Hotel is bright & vibrant you cannot miss.

Had a problem with the shower glass door, which came off whilst shutting the glass door when showering it was very heavy to prevent it from dropping onto my feet. I had to take care not to end up getting hurt.

Everything was fine, but not being able to book a parking space is a negative for me… there is simply no where else to park.

The parking should be bookable

Helpful smiling staff, really comfortable bed, not far to walk from the town centre or Reading Festival. Well insulated room, no neighbour or road noise. Not many car parking spaces but we were lucky and always got one. The staff responded to fix a minor plumbing problem immediately.

The hotel is presumably a converted house and is more tired and in need of refurbishment than the photos make you believe, but nevertheless is perfectly acceptable.

Affordable, walkable from the train station, staff on hand to check in in the evening. No nonsense quick check in, easy for us to come and go as we needed. Clean shower and decent floor space for bags. It suited our needs and was comfortable, double bed plenty big enough and comfortable, great value or money at the relatively short notice of booking.

Coat hanging facilities were not great; awkward and limited, no side table. Shower/toilet room was small and only separate from the bedroom with a glass door, but it was a functional space and excellent condition.

Staff were accomodating, polite, friendly, and very welcoming! The room itself was fantastic, considering the cheap price it was actually a very fancy and modern room! The room has just enough space to fit the bed, but what more do you need? The bed was very comfortable, the lighting in the room was lovely. Being able to have just the lights on the bed turned on was a nice touch. Bathroom was very nice too, good sized shower and everything was very clean!

Honestly, for the price I paid the room blew me away and I couldn't have asked for more!

Great customer service from the staff, clean and well looked after, everything I needed in the room to be comfortable for my one-night stay.

The location was great during the day - on a main road close to the station and town centre. However, would not have walked back from town centre, at night, on my own (get taxi). Narrow stairs a bit tricky with large luggage however, the staff were able to help me and moved my room to level 1 which was much appreciated.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable bed, and very nice shower. Room was clean and easy to keep clean - uncluttered layout and decor. Not far from town, and near the station. Corner shops and a lovely Nepalese restaurant across the road. Beautiful stretch of the Thames only yards away at the end of the sideroads on either side. Although no kettle, you can buy tea and coffee or get free hot water from machine at reception.

The size of the room didn't allow for any shelf storage space, so just a couple of hangers, and no chairs or table. But the bed was high and firm enough to sit on. Rooms at the front overlook a busy main road, so we had to keep windows closed overnight.

Clean, comfortable and all needed for a one night stop. No hospitality tray or seats in room so if wanting more than an overnight stop i would book a regular hotel. I chose Easy Hotel in Reading as it had an on site car park at £10 pet night.

No hospitality tray to make cup tea. You were able to obtain free bottles of water and buy coffee from a machine in reception.

Overall it was good value for the price. The hotel is budget-friendly and located close to the city centre, which made getting around really convenient. A big plus is the free street parking available at night after certain hours.

The walls are a bit thin, so you might hear some noise from other rooms, but that’s to be expected in a budget hotel.
