Breakfast choice excellent. Not very happy about too much help yourself and cut back on service. No criticism of staff just organisation of breakfast procedure. M Regarding dinner, some dishes listed on menu did not contain several of the ingredients listed. This was pointed out and we were told the chef had “run out” of certain ingredients and would remove the dish from the menu. This did not happen the next evening it was still listed. Another guest had the same experience with another dish on the menu. Really not good enough and made us decide to eat dinner elsewhere and will do so on future visits We have stayed at Harbour Heights several times and never had this experience!! So disappointing.

The room had a harbour view which was beautiful and unexpected. The breakfast choices were great and the quality was high. The bathroom was quite small but that is the room we spent least time in so that is fine. The room was well equipped and beautiful. We were looking for a lower grade hotel but the price of this and the quality was great, very good experience.
There could be limited parking if you were back very late but we always found a spot, so very happy. The lifts are small but perfectly workable, we did not have the opportunity to use the bar or restaurant but this is a beautiful spot and we walked out after breakfast, it was a shame we did not have more time there!

Lovely hotel, perfect for two nights away for my husband’s milestone birthday. He was very impressed with the Deluxe double room & it’s amazing views. Weather was good so we made full use of the outdoor bar area also with fabulous views. We could have been anywhere in the world! Food at dinner was fabulous & breakfast great. We were both very impressed with how friendly & accommodating all staff were - obviously a happy team. Parking was no problem & Sandbanks was a pleasurable walk away.
There was nothing we didn’t like about the property - just the price to return & book the same room.

Views are amazing from both the room, terrace and breakfast room. Reasonably priced given the location, really convenient for walking to the local beaches, The staff were lovely and polite, barmen new his stuff and made excellent cocktails..... the Saturday night DJ on the terrace had a good mix of tunes at a reasonable volume that didn't interfere with talking.
It's a lovely location and there's nothing bad about this place, it just isn't as 'boutique' as I would have expected for the location, cost and website pictures. Simple things like some updates to decor, nice furniture on the terrace, table service for drinks and music in the breakfast area all need more thought to really make this space feel special.

The hotel is in a brilliant position overlooking Sandbanks and the bay. Within an easy walk to the beach. The room with the balcony was definitely worth the extra money. The room was clean and comfortable and very well looked after by the house keeping staff. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent. There was a good choice of hot and cold food at breakfast and the restaurant has fantastic views. The staff were all very helpful and attentive and we found Catalina particularly friendly and very helpful. We would love to return.

The main reason for us staying here was the location. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony and stunning views across Poole harbour and beyond. The view can also be enjoyed from the large outdoor terrace. The head receptionist was very polite and helpful. A good size room with the bonus of a fridge and air con. Breakfast was delicious with various items available at the buffet and the hot breakfast was cooked to order. Parking was easy, we had no problem finding a space. We would definitely stay here again in the summer.
Nothing, we really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is of a reasonable size and in a good location with great views across the harbour with Sandbanks on one side and Poole on the other. The rooms are of a good size with great views depending on the room you book. They are comfortable and clean. The restaurant and bar are nice and the food served is of a high standard which is reflected in the price. The staff are all friendly and make you feel like a valued customer. I would definitely stay here again but maybe during the summer months as it has a lovely outdoor terrace and seating area which in January we didn't get yo try out. I'm sure in the lighter and warmer evenings with the great view it would be a nice spot to sit with a glass of wine.
The rooms are heated via the aircon system and this has a strange habit of making weird noises in the early hours of the morning. The walls between rooms also appear quite thin as sounds from adjoining rooms can be heard quite easily. Early risers can disturb the sleep of those who like to lay in a bit longer. Our stay was for two nights and I was woken at 5.30 on both days.

Really easy to find with such amazing views. We arrived earlier than expected but the staff were amazing at accommodating us. The hotel staff were just brilliant throughout and nothing was a bother. The hotel was warm, clean and tidy, room was bigger than we expected and so comfy! The reception staff were great and this also applied to the bar staff and those in the restaurant. Although busy, they always made you feel welcome, something you dont get at some of the bigger hotel chains. We had dinner in the restaurant (italian menu) and it was superb. Breakfast was also excellent and the staff again going above and beyond to look after you. Plenty of parking and amazing views from the bar. Took the dog along and he loved it to! Would highly recommend this hotel and its staff,Just superb.!
Nothing. Not a single niggle or issue.

The location is excellent. Staff at reception and restaurant/bar very switched on and helpful. Saturday dinner & service were very impressive. Italian menu food was very tasty. Gentleman playing piano was nice addition to the ambiance of the evening. Room we stayed in was very warm and you can easily adjust the temperature which helped with aftermath of a wet walk we endured during storm Bert. The view from the window was absolutely breathtaking, the same can be sad about view from the bar. Breakfast selection was just ok for me, nothing special however my husband did enjoy cooked full English - it was freshly cooked & tasty. If you are not hot breakfast lover like me, continental selection is basic. Other positives- our room had decent hairdryer, ironing board & iron, the power of the shower was very good also.
The room needed updating, the wear & tear is very visible and unsightly - the minute you walk in you can tell it is crying for refurbishment. Even though it was clean, the stains on the bathroom floor and in the carpet cannot be missed therefore takes away from cleaning staff efforts.
