We were picked up at the train station by the hotel’s electric car. Our room was upgraded. The reception staff were very friendly. A welcome chocolate was waiting for us in the room. The pillows were very comfortable. There is a ski storage room. It’s a 10-minute walk to the Matterhorn Express lift. From the balcony of the rooms on the third floor, you can see the mountain.

At breakfast, all the hot food (sausages, eggs, mushrooms, bacon, vegetables, and pancakes) is placed in pots with opaque lids, which is not very convenient. In the two-story room, the staircase is very steep. The spa is very small and there is no hot sauna — you have to go to the hotel across the street. There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel.

I travel las weekend with my husband and my 4 years daughter and honestly is very good located easy to go to other places around, very good restaurants close by and most important the breakfast was really good and the rooms were comfortable and modern!! We really recommend this hotel for families!! All the staff was so Kind and warm special silvana who helps with the food in the morning she is so sweet!! Also the spa was super nice and beautiful you can really relax and recharge after a long day walking!! Thank you Hotel Daniela we really enjoyed you!! Hopefully we will go back thanks again!!

Hotel with a traditional chalet vibe. Very cozy room, bed very comfortable and bath/shower facilities were excellent, not to mention the free pod coffee and packet of Lindt for a treat. Hotel shuttle available to the train station though its an easy 10 minute walk if you have packed lightly. There was an issue with the radiator in my room but the one off the staff members was extremely helpful and managed to fix it, even though she was about to leave for the night. Thanks again so much for your help :) Definitely would recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again.

We had an incredibly stay in Zermatt with the lovely hotel. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating, super helpful with clearing up confusion and helped a lot in the journey to the actual hotel. Our room was upgraded to a beautiful and large suite which was excellent, the interior and size was great and the balconies were very lovely and pleasant to sit out on. The location of the hotel was also great and everything was a few minutes walk. Cannot recommend this hotel enough to anyone looking for accommodation in Zermatt, super kid friendly hotel and the receptionists and staff were so incredibly kind and made our stay very memorable.

An American, having spent the past two years wandering across Europe ... 21 countries, 60 cities, 90+ hotels. The experience I had at Hotel Daniela topped them all. The hotel itself is expensive ( ALL Swiss hotels are ), well-furished, and well-located near the heart of town. But it's the staff who make this hotel " one of a kind " ... gracious, personable, charming, and professional. To management ... you are commended for recognizing that in Tanja, Lena, Victoria, and others I met there. To potential guests ... you can possibly find places a little less expensive, but nowhere NEAR the warm hospitality !

This is an amazing hotel very comfortable very quiet with a view of the Matterhorn from my windows the breakfast is the best I’ve ever experienced in the hotel in my 70 years. Don’t hesitate to book this hotel. It was exemplary in every way. And affordable at the beginning of December

The bathtub was very unsafe for older people. There was no bathmat for showering and no grab bars to get out of the bath. Please put in some grab bars or add a bathmat 100 people a year die in Switzerland in their showers because they are unsafe.

I really loved my room and its view! It was very spacious for one person. There were also a hiking backpack and a tote bag inside the closet. The coffee station and minibar were all included, which is quite rare. The breakfast buffet was varied, plentiful and delicious! You will always find something to eat in the lobby, such as snacks, cakes, croissants. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and recommend this place to anyone.

From WHOA to GO everything was amazing! The staff's attention to our needs was exceptional - a transfer from the train station after a very long day and extra help to understand what attraction were available and would best suit our time frame. Our room was perfect, soft pillows, comfy bed, hot sauna and spa, fresh white ropes and slippers. An exceptional breakfast with local fruits, cheeses, honey and perfect coffee - what more could we ask for!!!!!

Despite arriving very late, the host managed to leave all the instructions to access the room. The hotel is definitively worth 4 stars, rooms are large and cozy, with a very nice bathroom and shower: A perfect place for relax and head for slopes. Very "hygge" place, full of red/gray forniture and accessories - with plenty of hearts everywhere. Breakfast was excellent! I reall enjoyed our stay, and I'll come back to Hotel Daniela for a longer stay

I only had the time to appreciate this venue for less than 24 hours, so I was not able to spot any great area of improvement - except that Zermatt is confirmed to be very expensive (not specifically Hotel Daniela, but - as obvious - is aligned)

Super comfy and beautiful with a super relaxing spa. The staff was so nice! The free pick-up and return from the station. The breakfast had avocado, cream cheese, exotic fruits and even an orange juice squeezer. Really all in the details - from the welcome chocolate and free drinks at the room, to the amenities and tea in the wellness area, to the ski room and the possibility to take a shower before we leave.

Nothing. I will come back! Such value for money!
