The location was excellent, right on the water and in the midst of all the restaurants, cafes and shops - just what we needed after spending a few days at a remote farmhouse. Generous breakfast with lots of options. The room was spacious and clean, with a great shower. Air conditioned too - thank goodness as it was 100 degrees when we were there. Good value, I definitely recommend. I'll also put in a word for the burger/panini kiosk outside. Extremely delicious snd generous paninis to be had there, from a very friendly proprietor.

Parking was 15 euros a day. It was convenient but I would have liked to know that before booking. Definitely recommend you take the parking as it's not easy to find otherwise. Also, our room has a kitchen attached but that was also 15 per day, snd again I woukd have preferred to know about that option when booking.

I recently stayed at Hotel Bellavista on Lake Garda, and I had a wonderful experience! The hotel was charming, and the location offered stunning views of the lake. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast. The only downside was the weather, which didn’t quite cooperate during my visit. However, this didn't diminish my overall experience at the hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. I highly recommend Hotel Bellavista for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Lake Garda. I can't wait to return for another visit, hopefully with better weather!

Oh my goodness, I think this is the best location in Riva, or certainly has to be one of the best. We booked this for a night at very short notice, after a train strike cancelled our trip to Verona and we just hopped on a bus to Riva del Garda. When we opened the internal doors to outside, the view completely blew us away. As soon as we went to check in and saw the location we asked if we could stay a second night and they were able to accommodate us. We booked one of the rooms with its own hot tub and which benefits from direct access to the hotel’s sun terrace, which we took full advantage of. The room is over 2 levels, with the bathroom on the lower. The top level has a large double (maybe King size??), which was very comfortable, a table and chairs, mini bar, safe, kettle and there is plenty of storage over the 2 levels. Internal wooden shutter doors means you can block the light out at night and we really slept well. We don’t tend to eat much for Breakfast as a rule but it was fine - self service coffee machines, plenty of cereal option, breads, hot food, continental breakfast and there was a huge selection of sweet options including cakes, macarons, and even chocolates. Again, it’s such a lovely position to sit outside and just take in the view.

It’s not fair to ask this question as technically there isn’t anything we didn’t like about the property. If you prefer modern and contemporary then it won’t be for you. It’s got that old Italian charm but it was spotlessly clean (I particularly loved the tiles in the shower). The sleeping area is fairly compact and one of us had to sleep against the wall. The mini bar is positioned just over the table and chairs and I hit my head off it’s quite sharp corner. However, the position and the view made any of these niggly points pale into insignificance. Would we stay there again? We definitely would!

The hotel is located just on the lakeside with magnificent view. We’ve stayed with our two kids the suite with huge terrace and jacuzzi, which was a good price for value. The staff at the reception was polite and friendly. we were traveling by car so they arranged a parking for us nearby, which was very convenient. The restaurant downstairs was also very good.

Everything was great.

The location of the hotel is amazing. The staff is very kind and the breakfast is delicious. My room was upgraded depending on availability and it was a great surprise for me. The little gifts at the end of my stay were also a very thoughtful.

Especially the toilet hygiene was poor. A stained toilet paper roll was placed in the toilet on the second day of my stay.

The location was fabulous, right on the waterfront! The breakfast was exceptional - with so many great options. The styling of the hotel and rooms were very nice!

The bathroom did not have a shower, only a bath. This was ok with us but be careful when standing up as the low roof above the bath was very easy to hit your head on (yes I bumped my head quite hard).

Fantastic location on the lake with spectacular views from the room. Spacious apartment with kitchen facilities and good bathroom. Helpful staff.

Living area of apartment was sparsely furnished with sofa bed that was very uncomfortable to sit on. Decor was quite dated. Thin bedclothes but reception provided an extra blanket on second night

my only small criticism is the breakfast is partially served not self service i think for portion control and not much variety of fresh fruit also no iron or board available or in the room

The location is outstanding right in the heart of the pedestrian areas of the historic town center with unobstructed lake view. The hotel assisted to be a bit dated, but everything is in excellent condition, which makes this hotel a pristine and charming time capsule. The personnel was wonderful. They are true hosts, attentive and caring. The breakfast was also noteworthy: prepared with attention to detail, tasty and plentiful.

All the hotel staff ( reception, restaurant and housekeeping) were brilliant and helpful, the location and the lake views were amazing, the breakfast was excellent

The hotel needs rehabilitation . It was difficult to get there by car because the hotel is in pedestrians area.
