Room - very nice indeed bed was very comfortable slept very well there was tea/coffee facilities available Breakfast - very good host was very helpful, with constant filling of my coffee cup and the breakfast was excellent very filling for the start of the day Location - If you were staying in the area for a few days then this is very central, beach 10min walk, market square 5 mins, local restaurants and pubs 5mins and some very good looking local shops, yes Stonehaven has a lot to offer

All good, a little dated but a great place to stay, very clean and tidy

This was my second stay at the Belvedere and it again did not disappoint. The owners are welcoming, the facility is impeccable and absolutely gorgeous, and the breakfasts are just perfect. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable, bathroom was well kept. The location is quite central, short walk from the train station, and about 45-60 minutes walk to the castle (absolutely stunning walk… took me an hour and half due to enjoying the sights and picture taking, and stopping by the war monument and the cliffs. And my favorite part is that you can see the ocean from the facility when looking down Evans St., and access to it is a short 3 minutes walk, making it very accessible for sunrise and sunset seeing. 2 minutes from grocery store, and several great restaurants.

Lovely staff, I felt there was a lot of care that went into creating a really nice breakfast experience. Also offers a few vegan options (including a full cooked breakfast). Quiet while being very central (and I slept with the window wide open).I had a shared bathroom with the budget room, but it was super clean and nice, so can't complain

Not a problem for me, but worth being aware there are no lifts and some steep stairs up to the second floor

It was very clean and centrally located and has free parking. I loved the dining room and the stained glass windows.The staff were friendly and the cooked Breakfast was lovely too. The bed was very comfortable.

I didn’t like the thermostat of the shower as it constantly changed from really cold to really hot. I also wasn’t sure how to get the water running. After I while I realised I had to turn on the shower switch in the hallway outside of the shower room . This took 10 minutes to work out and it would have been better to have had instructions beforehand

Hosts were very friendly and accommodating, working hard to get our rooms ready in time for our early arrival. Traditional B&B accommodations with multiple bedrooms (our 3 rooms were all ensuite), breakfast area, and small lounge. Small bathrooms, but typical size for UK B&Bs. Comfy rooms, and excellent made-to-order breakfast. Great location, not too far from train station, and close to town shops, beach, and harbor. Easy to access the 2 mile (1-way) shore walk to Dunnottar Castle (highly recommended). Our large group made use of the lounge each night for games, and hanging out. Our hosts encouraged us to "make ourselves at home," even provided utensils for bringing back take-away food to the B&B. Would definitely recommend Belvedere!

I loved the old style feel, the stained glass window in the stairway, the view out my room window, and the couple who owns it. I had the full Scottish breakfast, and it was delicious and good value. Everything was clean and updated—for example, USB ports in the bedroom and modern bathroom fixtures. There was a sink for washing in the room, too.

The second floor bathroom sink sprayed a bit of your weren’t careful and turned it on too fast.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The staff are great and super friendly, having a private parking area was a huge plus, and it was walking distance to the beach, harbour, and train station, so it was very convenient. We picked an ensuite family room and it was so comfortable and great to return to after a day of outdoor activities. It was the best sleep I’ve had in a while! The cooked breakfast the next day was also really lovely.

We have a very great stay in belvedere Guest House the owners are very kind, welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast is excellent. There are even vegetarian and vegan breakfasts. We had the Scottish breakfast, so delicious. The Belvedere is located in the city center, Dunnotar Castle is accessible on foot from Stonehaven harbour. We travel by train and the hotel is 10 minutes downhill! To leave the owner called us a taxi (2 min by taxi to get to the station) so we avoided the hill with the suitcases :)

Owners were very friendly and made sure I was comfortable. Guest house very clean and well maintained. Loved how close it was from the beach since I spent much of my time there. Lots to do and see, great atmosphere and very friendly people, breakfast was great and made to each guest's liking. Looking a booking another trip shortly for September.

The Belvedere Guest House was in a good location in Stonehaven. It was easy to walk downtown and to the beach. The Breakfast room was well set up with friendly and accommodating service. They had a good and varied menu for breakfast, which would be suitable for all. The food was delicious as well. We enjoyed chatting with the owners as they were friendly and helpful. The Guest House was a short drive to the awesome Dunnottar Castle, which should not be missed.
