I stayed at The Brig Inn Hotel for a month and honestly, it was a gem of a find, especially for the affordable price. Everything you need is provided: soap, shampoo, an ironing board and iron, a kettle with coffee and tea, a TV, and even a packet of shortbread to welcome you in. It’s simple comfort that really delivers on value. But the real heart of this place is the people. Jason, the manager, is a great guy – friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure guests are comfortable. You can tell he cares just by chatting to him, and it’s reflected in the warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout. The pub staff are brilliant too, each one a bit of a character in their own right, and the regulars made me feel right at home, even as someone visiting from the US. The location is also ideal. There’s a Chinese takeaway right across the road, a Co-op just up the hill, and a Lidl over the bridge if you need to stock up. The Brig Inn Pub also offers some food options, with even more to be available during the summer months. The beach is only a five-minute walk away – perfect for a sunset walk – and if you’re lucky, you might even spot a seal or two floating around where the river meets the sea. Getting into town is easy too, just hop on the number 1 or 2 bus (or really, almost any Stagecoach bus) and you’ll be in the city centre in about 15 minutes. What a great little place! I was initially very sceptical as it was so cheap I thought it was too good to be true, but the Brig Inn is really quaint and lovely. The rooms aren't huge but have absolutely everything you need: comfortable double bed, ensuite bathroom with a great shower, chair/desk, coffee/tea/biscuits/kettle and a wardrobe. Easy to find and has a private car park as well. Definitely recommend!!

As we were right above the bar, there was music that could be heard, but only until 10.30pm and then it was quiet. We couldn't get the WiFi to work but maybe that's because our room was right at the end of the corridor? Anyway, it didn't bother us and it wasn't a problem :) The room wasn't very dark, but again, that didn't bother us and definitely didn't detract from the wonderful stay we had.

The room was clean with a comfortable bed, and the bathroom was spotless with a shower that had excellent pressure and temperature. There’s plenty of parking, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bar area was great for relaxing and chatting with locals and fellow travellers. Check-in and check-out were simple, and the hotel’s location makes it easy to get to the city centre, with a beach nearby within walking distance. A highlight of our stay was discovering a bridge over the river with a small island where we spotted many seals.

The booking on line was straight forward with no fuss The reception was quick and with no fuss. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The location was close to the main road into Aberdeen for bus travel - but the room was quiet. There was a friendly bar downstairs where I was made to feel welcome by staff and regulars. I would recommend The Brig Inn without hesitation and when I return I will book in again. Many thanks.

Small double room,comfy bed,spacious walk-in cupboard for hanging clothes/ironing board/iron,kettle/tea and coffee/biscuits tray...small en-suite bathroom/shower cubicle..Lovely white soft towels..Small Television on the well...adequate..A radiator you can turn up/turn down the heat.. ?The room is not particularly big,but it fitted my needs perfectly,and everything was spotless... I'll be back!!!

Very cosy and comfortable, clean organised and simple, if you want good affordable accommodation way better than a travel lodge ect. Bathroom was small but it was perfectly clean with good facilities (lighting, razor charger, electric shower that was nice and hot)

The only downside and Its a moot point really is that they have sky boxes in the rooms with tiny TVs, it would be easier if they just had cheaper bigger smart TVs and no sky boxes.

Didn't need anything fancy but nice clean pub/hotel. Sky TV, toiletries in bathroom, bottles of water and biscuits with the tea/coffee. Good location for what we required. Ample free parking spaces.

Could do with a bit of modernisation. Music night on the night we stayed, very loud as our room was right above. It did stop at 11pm and the music was good so wasn't really a problem for us.

The room was very clean with all amenities we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was efficient. Big car park on site. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly! I would definitely recommend this property.

The room was slightly small and we were not provided with any WIFI connection, no proper indications were given!

Food was not included, but that was no problem. Short distance from several restaurants and cafes. Quiet, comfortable, clean. Free parking. Bar open afternoon and evening, not expensive. Great place, good find

Very convenient location close to central Aberdeen, sea front, old Aberdeen and nearby places to eat. Extremely good value for money. Plenty of space to park on the premises. Clean and well furnished room.
