The property is in a good location on Ortigia and within easy walking distance to the piazzas, swimming spots and sites of the island. I would recommend staying on Ortigia & not Siracusa as there is not much around Syracuse except for archeological site. The room was large with a small balcony. Breakfast was good with a reasonable selection of continental choices. It is a small area with a low roof & unfortunately they allow people to smoke.

The only downside was the toilet in our room leaked & moved & this had to be fixed daily. While the staff were responsive in getting maintenance to fix it, they never really fixed it properly & no one acknowledged the ongoing inconvenience.

Location good though in summer might be too noisy. We came in good period, November. Your staff especially Anna at reception are all amazing and doing their job with passion. Breakfast was too good! We gained weight.

Maybe dont use the single room opposite the breakfast room, its noisy. My sister went in, noticed straight away it would be noisy and we upgraded to a double room and paid difference. She was on our same floor and happy. The last night there was a leaking in the bathroom, its beyond control cause it was because of the rain. When my sister mentioned at reception, immediately action was taken and apologies throughout. The owner herself went up to check. Perfect service.

We love this hotel, having stayed there a previous time in 2020. It's in an amazing location at the entrance to Ortigia with views over the water and market. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated and some have a balcony with room for a small table and chairs, lovely for a drink. You can get breakfast delivered to the room for a small fee, otherwise it's on the roof terrace in summer and is really good. There's also a ground floor eating area with bar. I could imagine someone investing a lot of money to polish up some of the old building - thought has gone into making it pretty but it's a big place and some things like staircases are a bit shabby. But if it turned into a grand hotel it wouldn't be so affordable for Ortigia so we love it as it is. Very close to some good bars and eateries (Barcollo for late night is great), and to the market

It was a decent hotel with good hotel service. Very helpful staff who cared, that everything was according to our needs. Some smaller extra wishes were also immediately solved. The room was good enough. The breakfast was outstanding compared to what you can get in Sicily for this money. It was rich, tasty, a lot of choice.

Excellent location to start exploring the beautiful island of Ortigia. Right next to the market. With a supplement, the staff offered to upgrade the room with one which had a nice balcony with sea view. The breakfast was good with savory and sweet options. Breakfast can be taken on the terrace, subject to weather conditions.

I wish I had a room with sea view from the beginning but it was fine in the end as I could move into one after 1 night.

A fabulous and very reasonably priced hotel perfectly located with sea views on the edge of the historical district. I stay in dozens of hotels every year and most are just miserable, expensive corporate places. This hotel is super clean, has wonderful staff, has great character, and I loved the rooftop terrace for morning breakfasts and evening watching the sun set and the world going by below. I totally recommend the place to you.

No gripes at all, this hotel is really well done. They don't have room safes, but I placed all my valuables in the main safe in the office and received a receipt for it. Super.

This is the hotel to stay in if you are travelling with a pet! We travelled with our dachshund and were able to stay together with our friends in the same hotel because this is a pet friendly hotel! The staff both at reception and breakfast were friendly and understood and spoke English as well. The croissants at breakfast are fresh and smell just great in the morning! :) We also appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the hotel overall.

Great location, super helpful receptionists, who were able to offer advice about the city, transport, trips. Great breakfast included on the gorgeous roof terrace. We also enjoyed sitting up there each evening. Nice little biscuits at reception (couldn’t resist every time we walked past!) Room was spacious. Good air conditioning.

The balcony was a little smaller than we thought, and overlooked the busy street. However, it wasn’t an issue, as we preferred sitting on the roof terrace.

The location is very nice and there are a lot of things to do around. The staff was very helpful.

The only thing that was a default is that you have to pay for parking since there isn’t any free parking spaces around. The only free parking space is with a 1 hour time limit just to unload your luggage.

A comfortable hotel in an excellent location. Easy to access by car and within walking distance of all the sites on the island Nice terrace with views across harbour, though it would be too hot for breakfast in summer I guess. Staff were friendly and helpful. Disabled parking in front of the hotel.

A bit awkward to access the terrace for anyone with mobility issues.
