Such a great hotel, the location is near perfect, walking distance to everything and the tram to St. Jean. What makes this hotel, though, is the caring staff. We had a minor issue, which caused us to lose our room, not their fault, but another guest who didn't vacate the room 6 months ago. They put us at another very nice hotel and even accompanied us to the hotel. That should have been enough. We were quite happy with how they handled the situation. They went even further, above and beyond, as they upgraded our room this visit and left a handwritten note of appreciation of our loyalty. How could we not be loyal to such a great Hotel and staff. They even had cushy dog beds for our teckels! Amazing!!

That we could stay longer!

Location was great, staff were help and friendly. Breakfast was good. This was the second time we stayed here in the same week and the room was much better this time as our room at the beginning of the week was uncomfortably small, ironically called a comfort room.

the room was set up as a double but during the night my husband fell through the middle as the bases hasn’t been connected together. (Quite funny for us but for someone older perhaps not so funny).

room 220 was very spacious with twin beds. lovely bathroom with separate shower and bath. the location was very central. great full length balcony. .Even with the bed issue we were delighted with our room and stay. thankyou

the beds were too hard for our taste and we both suffered from back pain. the bath water was on a set temperature which was not very hot. no luxuriating ! it was wet and cold whilst we were staying in Bordeaux thankfully the room heating adjusted easily and efficiently. so we were cosy.

Good, clean room. AC was a lifesaver, so glad it worked very well. Room had great lightning. We did like the two sinks, particularly. Me My mom and I could get our morning routines done at the same time, no need to wait for one to be finished first, so we could start the day early. Location is great, one can walk to the center or take a tram if necessary. Smoking room was very appreciated.

Beautiful hotel with updated classic charm. All perfectly clean with comfortable beds. Nice breakfast spread. However even with breakfast all out and ready, the staff can't be bothered turning lights on in restaurant until they're finished doing room service breakfast - almost ran us (plus 2 or 3 other couples waiting) late for flight. Left with a bitter note after loving the hotel itself.

Staff are dull and maybe insecure. With such a beautiful hotel, I don't understand why they can't just be a little cheerier & simply say 'Bonjour'. We travel a lot and see so many cheery faces at check in desks or serving in hotel restaurants, but this one seemed sad. The cheeriest face was the cleaner in the hallway (special thank you to her for our clean rooms).

A beautiful hotel. Small but positioned perfectly in the beautiful centre of Bordeaux. Our room was the de seze suite which was a good size - with a wonderful lounge very attractive bedroom and a loo separate to the bathroom.

The restaurant and bar by the entrance to the hotel wasn’t manned outside meal times so if you wanted a drink for instance mid/late afternoon you had to find a member of staff to open up.

Expensive but nice in all respects. The staff booked an outside restaurant for us twice, as their own is closed on Sunday and Montday and thus saved us the trouble of negotiating our dinner over the phone.

Tbe greatest inconvenience is, of course, the restaurant which stays closed Monday and Tuestay. The staff, however, can always recommend something nearby and can even do the reservation for you.

This was our third stay at this hotel as the hotel is second to none. The rooms are impeccable, the location couldn't be any better as it is right in the centre yet NOT too close to be noisy. The moment you walk in, the hotel is bright and welcoming. The staff at the reception go out of their way to help you especially Emma, Jade, Constance and Aldo. Thankyou so much, you really made our stay very special.

The hotel de Seze was located in a very central location we upgraded our room that was very roomy. The staff was extremely helpful, especially Marjorie. Always smiling always ready to help. The breakfasts were very good. Lots of protein choices. Would definitely come back

The only thing that was a bit worrying was the shower/tub situation. It was just a bit deep for climbing in and out. Stalls would be a lot safer. But it wouldn’t prevent me from coming back.

The location of the hotel could not have been better. Only minutes walk from everything, yet out of the hectic hustle and bustle. 5 minutes walk to the riverfront promenade and 5 minute walk to hundreds of restaurants, museums, tourist office fabulous shopping, or the Parc Public.

Whoever tiled the floor of the shower must have been an apprentice because the tiles in the shower sloped to the door and into the bathroom. Disaster !!!
