Everything was exceptional. The staff were friendly & helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The property & rooms are clean & comfortable. I highly recommend Damare Resort & Spa for a quiet relaxing escape.

There is not much around the hotel as far as shops or other restaurants options without taking transport.

Brand new hotel on the other side of St. Pauls Bay in Xemxija, with great transport links to everything you would want to see in the north of the island. The hotel is small and the staff were great, in particular Miodrag on reception, he was so friendly and incredibly helpful, really good at his job, he couldn't do enough for us. Simon in the restaurant was great too, and Oksana in front of house they were both friendly and helpful. Obviously, with it being a new hotel, there are teething problems and still some snags that need attention, but this is to be expected in a new build. The team were apologetic with any issues and dealt with them impecably well. When it's all finished, and the spa and indoor pool are ready and open. I have no doubt this hotel will be a little gem in Malta. We hope to come back and see it when it is xx

The indoor pool and spa weren't ready, but we knew this at the time of booking, so it's not an issue. Plus, from what we've seen, they will be incredible when finished

Everything from start to finish. Cannot recommend Damare Resort enough. The staff are incredibly welcoming, professional and friendly. A very special thank you to Mickey on reception. He really went above and beyond to help us out with anything we needed. He is an absolute gem 💎 and a huge asset to the hotel. Breakfast every morning was so good and the selection to choose from was very impressive. The cave pool is incredible and the rooftop bar and swimming pool were definitely the highlight of the hotel. We will most definitely be back to Damare on our next visit to wonderful Malta. The only negative to our stay was having to leave.

Going home

Everything was luxurious and fresh. The breakfast was incredible and I had the best customer service overall, they were all so professional and kind. I loved the shower and the amount of space there was, the bed made me feel so relaxed and my sea view was breathtaking I could hear the gentle sound of the waves when I woke up.

We had the room with sea view and it was great! Big room, nice view. The rooftop Pool was amazing - we really enjoyed it! The Service was great! Very Helpful and Kind!

-its directly located at the street and there is nothing really around so we always used bolt/Uber to go somewhere -the breakfast could be better (7/10). The hot Drinks and juices were great but the buffet was very small (missed eggs, slides of cheese, Fruits and not only a small fruit salad, Toasts, etc.). The things you can Order on the menu are good but not a lot for Vegetarians. Could be improved. -the indoor pool should be a bit more warm, the water was cold. -rooftop bar only open until 4pm - should be a bit longer :-)

We decided to book this hotel because of the superb view. It's the only one I found with a balcony right over the sea and IT WAS WORTH IT. The view of the bay was indeed lovely and we could enjoy the sea breeze at night and were able to fall asleep to the sound of the waves just bellow. Truly magical. It's also in a quiet and calm area, but we were able to easily get around because all the busses we needed stop very near to the hotel. The staff were all lovely and polite and both the included breakfast and the menu for dinner in the restaurant were great. I had probably the best calmari I have ever tried there. The room was thoroughly cleaned every day and smelled nice aftewards. Also really enjoyed the spacious bathroom and nice bath products which didn't dry out my hair which usually happens at hotels.

Beautiful room with the hot tub with an amazing view. Staff were brilliant.. Shout to Eric who looked after us all week at the rooftop pool, and Tea on the front desk. The young lady didn't catch the name in Leo's bar also amazing thank you for your hard work and attention.

The pool bar on the roof closing at 4pm. It has been at its peak in terms of customers up there at this point, please extend to around 1800-1900. Need to get a cab or bus to go anywhere outside of hotel, only one supermarket and small restaurant down the hill. Private shower facilities needed for when you check out and have no room. The pool shower and toilets is very uncomfortable. Maybe include an after hours service for food and drink, another revenue stream for you to. No iron in the room and more than 1 bottle of water required. Sorry these are small things really that would have made it better.

The hotel is fantastic, with beautiful views stretching over the bay, an amazing infinity pool on the roof, a lovely restaurant and an unusual and interesting indoor pool in a cave. The room itself was exceptional, a very large balcony with the best view and the hot tub perfectly located next to the bedroom and with views out to sea. The bed was comfortable and the room was a great size. The shower was also great. There was also a small outdoor area on the bottom floor with access to swim in the sea. Food and drink was relatively inexpensive and there was a good selection. Everything felt considered and finished to a high quality.

The hot tub was a little bit noisy during the night, but not much you can do about that! I also think that our balcony was easily big enough to get a couple of sun loungers on, and it would have been a big benefit!

The hotel is very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable – you can feel the high standard from the moment you walk in. The luxurious aesthetics and the attentiveness of the staff. The additional extras - which are included in the price - such as the amazing breakfast! This modern property had two restaurants to choose to eat; with local bolt food to order if wanting something different. Literally everything was at the tip of your phone on WhatsApp, from room service, to simple questions rather than going downstairs to ask. Being slightly out of the city meant that the infinity pool and balcony’s had amazing views. Bus routes were accessible and really cheap considering the distance. Cannot wait to visit again.
