It was clean and very centrally located m.

When booking says breakfast included it should have everything in it. They gave us coupons to next door cafe for breakfast and no morning tea or coffee was included. Paying separately for breakfast tea or coffee was a shame and wrong advertisement I guess

Staff were very kind as we only communicated over message due to checking in late & checking out early. Everything was prepared to include a very toasty room! View from our room was GOREGOUS! The room itself was very nice, clean, and spacious. There are negative reviews of the shower but I had a bit of a cold from the weather and liked the steam!

We didn’t even bother with the breakfast voucher as the reviews were so horrible. We went directly next door (also right next to the motel) to The Greedy Cow! AMAZING breakfast! We got there right before the morning rush and can say that it would’ve been worth the wait if we were late.

Perfect location. Walking distance to 4square, eateries, church of good shepherd and Lakefront walk. Staff very helpful. Free parking on site. Spacious. Quiet Just a note, - a microwave in the room would be nice as seems like there was a built shelf for it. - no housekeeping for the duration of stay, but is fine. And can get new towels from them

Ceiling fan for ventilation very creaky. Facility was old and needed an uplift. Very strange never seen before dome plastic cover screwed on over the shower cubicle which made showering a bit like a sauna. And probably causing the mold growing inside the shower walls. Included in pricing, the breakfast at dough boy bakery was not good. Would have preferred to eat at the restaurant adjacent to dough boy

We like the bed room , it's big and comfortable

We didn't like the bathroom because it's hard to control water temperature, sometimes it's too hot sometimes it's too cold and it dose suit the baby or small kid because they couldn't have shower from this kind of bathroom, the water direction will go over their head and wouldn't get any water on there body, it was difficult for us to give shower for our 2.t year old kid because we afraid she would get burn from the hot water which hard to control cold or hot.

Great location, comfortable room, breakfast included at nearby Cafe. Staff very polite and obliging. We had an issue with TV which was attended to promptly. Even though reception is manned only short hours, we found that contact via email got an immediate response and they could attend to our query. Small porch to sit and relax and see lake and mountains. Ample hot water, and numerous power sockets.

Limited parking, first in best dressed! No chairs in the room. Spacious bathroom, but very small compact fibreglass shower.

Location and facilities. Near to everything. Kids love the place. Food places to eat nearby

Complimentary Breakfast added into the booking required us to go to some restaurant at the back of hotel. The breakfast menu is way too limited and foos isn’t great. I hopped on to the breakfast place opposite to that. I hope they improve the quality of breakfast

Location. Right in the centre of tekapo, a short walk to the lake. Close to everything Comfy beds Lovely staff

We had two stays here. The first time we were upstairs and that was great. The second stay we were downstairs on a corner unit. It was really noisy with people constantly walking around on the deck outside our unit. This unit had a shower over the bath which was too difficult for my elderly mother to use.

Great location, comfortable and warm beds (electric blankets are a must in winter). Everything you need.

The breakfast was not super. The toast was lukewarm and a bit soggy. Also, this was the first time on this trip I was charged extra for using a credit card (3%). On top of the already quite steep price (but everything is pricey here in Tekapo).

Staff were fantastic at getting us in and setup in tricky conditions with the down being submerged in snow.

Getting a free breakfast is prob not required as there is so much choice in Tekapo and the Doughboy Cafe breakfast was terrible. We didn’t go back after the first time. So maybe a reduced price and not include a breakfast.

Location was good with everything easy walking distance. Room was a good size and comfortable bed.

There is no where to sit inside. Would rather have paid less and sorted our own breakfast as not much choice. Even though there are no cooking facilities, it would have been better if there were at least plates to be able to eat off.
