when I checked in early in the day the staff said they couldn't find the main set of keys to my room so they gave me the spare keys which were incomplete & said they would find & give me the main full set of keys but she didn't, & luckily I didn't stay out late as the missing key was the key to get into the building, I only found that out the next morning when I went out to my car parked next to the building but when I tried to get back in to the building none of my keys fit, so I had to wait for someone else to come along & when I told them my key story they said that that had happened to them as well so they understood my predicament...!!

The staff are excellent, they are friendly, helpful and very honest, my wife left a valuable gold chain in the room and they called to let us know it had been found. this is a big popular hotel with well priced food & drinks

Handy location, great harbour view.

Our original room had no view whatsoever. You could not see through the opaque windows. Even though we paid a fair amount for that room we upgraded to a better room.

My room was spotless, I got to check in early. The staff lovely, the food was yummy, everyone was so friendly. Apart from the really squeaky floor boards in my room, everything was perfect

Great location, overlooking the river. A large renovated unit with friendly staff. The hotel meals were good quality and value. Free pool table on Sundays

Fantastic friendly staff, clean and comfy rooms with great beds. Food and service at the bistro were excellent. Love the location too

Hot water needs to run a while to get warm. A little sign would be awesome

Unique and spacious. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment which was located above the old theatre.

It was so big! So much room. We stayed in the two before apartment with self catering facilities. It was amazing with huge windows and massive balcony.

There was no onsite parking. And we tried a little laneway behind the hotel thinking there was parking and there was such a big pothole i could have hurt my car, it bottomed out so bad and scraped the nose.

My stay at the Wharf Hotel, Wynyard was primarily the close proximity to the airport, 20 minute walk or taxi. My stay there was good and I enjoyed my meal in the dining room. The view from my room looked over the river, I did not do a walk over to the beach but it certainly looked like a lovely walk

OMG the bed was super comfy, I wanna take it home with me!!! The service was fantastic... And such great value. Highly recommend....

The app I used told me food wasn't available at this venue, however food IS available and what I saw of the menu looked awesome and smelt fantastic... And great prices . Wish I didn't eat before checking in xxx
