The unit was large, very clean, and had a nice area to prepare food. The coffee in the room was delicious. The beds were very comfortable. The heater worked fine and was quiet. We liked the tile floor, much nicer than carpeting. The bathroom had plenty of soap, shampoo, conditioner, and clean towels. Our unit was on the ground floor and we could park right outside the door. The Victorian theme and room decorations were really nice. We will definitely stay here again.

When I’m on the road, the most important thing to me is that my room is clean no bugs in a decent condition. Hot water and good pressure from the shower and minor amenities. Microwave refrigerator TV coffee service and that’s what this place has. It’s old and the furniture is a bit scruffy, but everything is serviceable. The staff are professional and friendly. This will be the place I go to anytime I’m coming to Reno.

Nothing really to complain about. Parking is a bit short could use more spaces and the only ice machine they have is upfront at the desk.

Inn was within a short walking distance to the Sparks Nugget Casino where we had tickets to a concert. We felt very safe walking to the casino there and back at night. Area was well-lit and free of pan-handlers and unsavory characters. The location & room was very quiet. Sarah, at the front desk , was very accommodating & understanding. Check-in guy was very personable. The manager helped us out with a problem we had. The management & staff were exceptionally helpful

OK perfect budget motel. Lovely staff. The room was pure "grandma." The bedding was higher quality than I expected. The bathroom and carpet are older but clean enough. Spacious room, coffee maker microwave and I think fridge. Best of all very quiet. Right by I-80, so if Reno is just a stop over this is the place. Parked car right by my room which I really like. Enter the room from the lot (I don't like having to drag all my bags through a lobby, maybe use an elevator just for one night. I feel safer if my car is right by my room. Single woman of a certain age.

Nothing. Great bang for your buck,. Much quieter than a downtown casino.

Excellent bed: firm mattress, comfortable pillows. No problems with wi-fi. Decent lighting in room for working at table, reading in bed. Plenty of hot water, good flow from shower. No problems with noise from street or nearby freeway.

No desk—just a small round table, not great for working at laptop. Ice only available when office is open, so I couldn't get some before my early departure. One-cup Keurig-style coffee-maker, with only two pods.

Clean and functional (microwave , fridge, coffee maker, TV). I liked the table with two chairs. You can eat at the table while watching a movie (TV swivel ). The room smelled fresh like there were no previous occupant which is very nice. For the price , highly recommended.

Furniture is from the 80 but that not really a cons since everything is clean and practical. My only complain was a little moldy shower curtain at the bottom. The bathtub was very clean however.

Cute place with quaint furnishings. Could use better towels (they were thin, only one towel and washcloth per person, no hand towels), had to ask for a blow dryer. Staff very friendly. Convenient location, near Nugget Event center, and good price. I’m pretty sure I requested non-smoking, but there was a pinchy smoke smell in the room. Would stay again, but make sure to confirm non-smoking and ask for more towels.

Room is so cute, looks like a bed and breakfast. It was so comfy. I slept like a log. Wished I could have stayed another night. Has microwave, small fridge, cupboards for stuff.

Had to set up TV. It wasn't hard to do, but some directions stating that it needed to be done would have been helpful. I was using two remotes and couldn't figure out why "live TV" wouldn't come on.

I went to work on my book. I told the cleaning staff that I would not need their attention while there, except to supply towels and othe necessities. They were extremely accommodating and friendly. I was able to make great progress on my writing, and I could not be HAPPIER with the choice I made . When I travel to the Reno area,, I will ALWAYS choose the Victorian Inn! It is walking distance from the Nugget and other local venues--including a theater and restaurants. In addition, it's just a short ride to Target and Costco--where I bought most of my food. I only ate out once, at the Chophouse at the Nugget, which I highly recommend! (Don't forget, it gets overbooked with reservations and only opens at 4. But I got a great seat near the bar, without a reservation, and had a lovely time!) It;s walking distance from the Victorian Inn, so you can enjoy your EXCELLENT cocktails and walk back to the Victorian. I could not have chosen a better lodging!!

Next time I will choose a room with a kitchen-style counter. I did fine with the bureau. but a true counter would be ideal.
