This place was generally clean, and comfortable, a typical chain hotel in the US. Everything was fine, the rooms were quite large. However, we recently stayed at the Best Western Plus in Truckee and found them to be much more charming, and the staff were friendlier too.

The hotel is not very sustainable and generates a lot of unnecessary plastic trash. They offer 2 plastic bottles of water at check in, even though the hotel has tap water and water dispensers. Looking at the other reviews, it seems like most people think this is a nice amenity so I doubt the hotel will change. The breakfast consists entirely of unhealthy processed and frozen or other pre-packaged foods (Jimmy Dean's, muffins etc). Plates and utensils are all disposable. The Best Western Plus in Truckee has a fresh hot breakfast and real plates, mugs, and cutlery.

Customer service, our room were excellent.

You market as "pet friendly" well all the dogs not allowed around the property sign state otherwise, seems very unfriendly. Pet owners as a whole use respect, for cleaning up poop. The signs with dogs crossed off, like not allowed seemed offensive to a per owner. Plus no area in the back area to to walk a dog for taking care of business, and you have to find the area in the front of the building. Either be per friendly or don't have pets allowed.

Clean and comfortable except the pillows were terrible. Handicap parking was 25 spaces from the front door while parking was closer. Price paid was $25 more per night than people who walked in the door without pre-booking at a “bargain price “would not use booking

I do a LOT of road trips and Best Western Plus is my favorite chain to stay at. At this one in particular, staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Rooms had everything I needed including a nice-sized mini-fridge. I love that there are ice machines on every floor. Plentiful luggage carts near the lobby and elevators to help with loading and unloading. Overall a solid stay.

Compared to other Best Western Plus's I've stayed at, the breakfast options at this location were limited. Also, beware the parking lot and don't leave anything valuable in your car. There was a man who looked out of place peeking in car windows as I was loading up very early in the morning. He starred at me for a while and made me feel quite uncomfortable (solo female traveler here).

They need to put a sign on the restaurant door to the patio: the step down scares people; easy to trip. Clattering equipment noise started early morning and continued throughout the day

I don't always rate the lodging places I find on Booking.com because most are more than adequate. I'm making an exception for this Best Western Inn because one doesn't often encounter accommodating hospitality and warmth in a large Inn. High marks beyond the norm for this one, especially for its staff. The free, 3-mile radius, hotel shuttle bus was a valuable and unexpected amenity, too, that made it easy for us to go out and enjoy dinner in a nearby bistro without having to drive. Good breakfast, too!

In general, I would like to see more Inns supplying a small table with 2 chairs in their rooms.

I appreciated that there was a hot breakfast. Didn't much care for the biscuits and gravy, which was kind of bland and not especially warm. The eggs were okay. There was an automatic pancake maker that looked fascinating, but I didn't try it. They did have a discount offer at a nearby Denny's if you show your room keycard, but we didn't go there.

Not especially taken with the biscuits and gravy breakfast option. There could have been more variety in the pastries.

I give the hotel a great rating for the most part , I was disappointed in the location , it is located in the industrial area next to the Rail Road Tracks and a city bus hub . While there were some mini mart type services nearby ( not walking distance ) the area also had a large homeless presence and a lot of closed business . I don't fault the hotel but certainly it did impact my experience.

The staff was top notch, especially Maddie at the front desk! It was 4th of July, so they were busy and ran out of bath towels, but Maddie gave me extra hand towels and made the best out of a bad situation. Maddie was very professional and had a great attitude. Thanks, Maddie!

Quiet room, except for some muffled noise (from a TV?) at 3 AM, but it stopped after some time and was fine. The breakfast had some good choices, including protein (eggs and sausage links). It was nice that a shittle was offered, even though we didn't take advantage of it. I also used the gym, which was very clean with well-maintained equipment.

A little bit of the TV noise from either the lobby (we were on the second floor) or another guest's room. Also, the A/C was somewhat noisy when it cycled on and off, so it was good that the weather outside was temperate enough (probably 60s overnight) to be able to turn it off the second night. Also, check-in took long because the receptionist wasn't aware of how to check in guests who booked through a third party website.
