The room was in an ideal location in Lanark. It is on the main street but still tucked away behind some coverage. It has a feeling of being in a lodge, despite being in the heart of the town. We read the notes about being mindful of overusing the water supply and thought it was fair. The TV had internet and YouTube access. The room had plenty of tea and coffee facilities and the beds were quite comfy. Being based in the garden area of the house, the traffic noise was definitely zero. Overnight it was dead silent. The bathroom area is quite small but it certainly doesn't feel like a disadvantage. The shower area is just about enough for any purpose and you can easily use the sink and toilet facilities. The room itself is actually slightly bigger than it looks in the picture. The room comes with some fitted dimmer switch options that add some more flavour to the lighting, allowing for your own desired preferences. There also includes separate places for some luggage and coat hanging. Overall, right down to the breakfast, I cannot even complain at all. Breakfast contained a menu of items to pick from, along with some fruit and cereal options on the side. Some pre made tubs of fruit and yoghurt were set up to take aswell. Staff were very welcoming and all the nice personal decor around the house gave it a personalised feel. That makes some B&B's stand out over many hotels. Much of the design is unique. Breakfast was severed in another building, via a menu that was picked the night before. It was tidy, clean and again, very personalised in design choice.
One small thing would be the temperature was on the colder side. We weren't freezing and used the heating once but the heat didn't retain as long as I thought. Under the blankets later on, it became zero issue though.

Overhaul the accommodation was excellent. Lots of little things had been thought of and anything else we may have needed would have been provided on request. Breakfast was very good and freshly made according to our request. Nothing was too much trouble.
The bed had quite a heavy duvet on which we don't favour, this is a personal preference and because the weather was exceptionally hot it may have felt worse than it was. I am sure Lesley and John would have sorted something out for us if we had asked. The entrance to the property is a challenge at busy times as it is on the main road but is brought to your attention readily. Once on the property it's hard to believe you are so near to all the facilities of the town centre an oasis of bird life within a cottage garden.

Charming stopover to Glasgow with lovely hosts. The place is a gem hidden away in beautiful grounds and garden. Very pretty. The room is compact but of a high standard with thoughtful touches. Shower nice size and modern. Bed comfy. Private accomodation in the garden.Lovely pub 'The Crown' with an extensive menu, better than your average pub grub! We love it here and would stop again en route to the City.
The local area hasn't much to offer really

Two small beautifully decorated and equipped rooms in a stand-alone garden building. A quite astoundingly good breakfast served in the former coach house. The whole set-up has been very well thought out, designed and implemented, just perfect.
That the weather wasn’t quite warm enough to sit with a drink on the wee private terrace outside each room? In the summer that would have been blissful.

We stayed in the Silver Birch room which was comfortable, well furnished and very clean. There was a little outside seating area where we enjoyed a drink in the lovely garden. The area was very quiet and peaceful. Lesley and John were excellent hosts, making us very welcome and providing a delicious breakfast in the separate coach house.
Everything was perfect. Just wish we were staying longer!

This stunning property would have to have been the most outstanding BnB we have ever been to. It was faultless. John and Lesley were both amazing people and the breakfasts were award winning. Highly recommend this beautiful BnB.
This place exceeded expectations, there was nothing to dislike.

We were given a really friendly welcome and helpful recommendations for nearby pubs, and the location of the room was special, surrounded by a beautiful garden with lovely flowers. The room was immaculate and extremely comfortable and quiet, with a great bed. The shower was excellent with really nice toiletries provided. We had a great stay at Rosemount and would definitely go there again!

This property is extremely well placed for all local amenities and beautiful surrounding area, but the bedrooms are set back from the main road so you still have a peaceful experience. The rooms are relatively compact but the finish and use of space is phenomenal - there is literally nothing lacking and everything is high quality and spotless. The breakfast experience is exceptional, lots of choice and cooked in front of you by the highly hospitable hosts.
Absolutely nothing.

Lesley and John were brilliant hosts. They were welcoming and enjoyed chatting with them. They especially assisted us getting an early breakfast on the way to The Open Golf. The room was lovely and had everything we needed. Lovely, quiet location set back off the road but great for walking to local places to eat.
Nothing, perfect stay!

Peaceful location, yet only 2-3 mins walk away from good restaurant ( Woodpecker) , and fantastic old traditional live music bar ( Horse and Jockey). The room was perfect , from the decor , the heated bathroom floor, to the beautiful hanging baskets outside . Plenty of choice at breakfast...we opted for full Scottish...it was cooked perfectly. The hosts are lovely, friendly people and it was a pleasure to stay here. Thank you Rosemount Boutique, thank you Lanark . Like Bukowski in his poem ' nirvana ' we felt the magic !
