The location is incredible, a short walk to the beach and restaurants, the view (sea view), the heritage features and size of bedroom and the apartment, the comfy bed, very clean, loved sitting in the enclosed verandah with sea view.

Most not a dislike just a please be aware there are lots of stairs to climb for the view (not a problem for everyone), sash windows can make a noise and difficult to open (part of heritage charm), the wet shower in the bathroom (pressure excellent but be prepared to mop the floor afterwards), TV is not a smart TV I don't think, sky channels have no movie options, no chrome castor so a bit frustrating - bring your own entertainment.

The apartment is clean and in an excellent location. It's steps away from the beach, and the neighborhood has lots of good restaurants. There isn't much visible staff, but our room was refreshed regularly, and we were notified by a staff member when the scheduled pick up for a tour was changed. We appreciated the high quality (Fisher and Paykel) washer and dryer which is located in a common area and shared by all tenants. Very comfortable bed. Having an off street parking stall was also a nice feature.

The place is okay. It was clean and had a lot of space, but it's a little run down. To be fair, it appears that the owners are starting renovations, as there were a lot of tradesmen around. It was also a good value for the price, but the floor coverings are threadbare and there are wooden shims all over the place - leveling the fridge, keeping windows closed, etc. Again, pretty nice place, but could use a refresh.

Amazing views. The one bedroom apartment we stayed in looked out over the sea. Pretty much felt like we were on the beach. There was small sunroom, maybe you would call it that had a window that could be opened quite wide that brought the noise and smell of the sea into the room. Fabulous place to shear a meal with your partner, while enjoying the view of the surfers. There was a very friendly tabby cat that seemed to live in the complex, at least it thought it did.

It was a bit disappointing, but understandable that there wasn't a lift and the garages provided for car parking were built for cars of a size that were built probably 50 yrs ago. Not major gripes, but probably something visitors might want to be aware of.

Perfect location 1min to the bars / cafes and 2min walk to the promenade/ beach. Great value for such a perfect location. Lovely apartment, lots of space, we had a ground floor one which had a lovely little terrace where the fan tails were flying around in the morning so lovely to watch. I don’t think all the rooms had an outdoor bit so we were very lucky. Would definitely book again.

Only suggestion would be to have a bigger / nicer outdoor table, the outdoor bit was lovely and spacious but only a tiny table.

We booked a room with full view and were popped on the top available floor. The apartment had seperate kitchen (with additional sun porch enclosed), seperate kitchen, bathroom and then master room. Spacious. We were sent access instructions so never met the owner but they had left the heaters on for us - great for winter in Dunedin. Every room had an unobstructed view of the ocean - fabulous. A character filled apartment with all that you need. Super comfy and cosy beds too.

No lift. But the stairs were easy climbers and saved me needing further cardio workout for the day hoofing my luggage upstairs.

Spotless & good vibes. Close to restaurant & ocean. The facilities were perfect- washing machine easy to operate & drier beside it. My friend stayed in apartment next to me. Lovely kitchen & separate lounge.

All the concrete steps from the road up to front entrance( I have a sore back) Lugging the suitcase (cabin size) up 20 steps from the car was difficult.

`The place was immaculately clean. The location was perfect just by the beach with Cafes and bars. We had a car - only 10 minutes to city centre. Staff was nice and responsive. beds were comfortable. it was warm inside.

we were a family of five travelling with another family of four. the apartments were a bit crumpy for all of us. the windows could not shut properly, even with the little wooden pieces so we had to put a blanket to stop the wind from blowing in.

Location, spacious apartment, and ambience/character of the apartment and building. I liked the surprise extras - beach towels available for use and the free laundry.

The bathroom was always wet as the shower was positioned in the centre with a shower curtain as the only divider to the rest of the room. It did not drain well so remained wet (although not slippery). The description indicated a full stove however there was only a portable hot plate.

The apartment was really spacious and light and the location was perfect for our stay in the Dunedin! The building has a history & I liked that they had kept the history but it felt comtempory. It was within walking distance of the beach & restaurants & cafes & a short driving distance to get out onto the Otago Peninsula! We also appreciated the shared washing facilities as we were on a road trip!

Small convenience thing but there was a lack of electricity sockets in the kitchen! The hob was a portable one so it needed a socket & so if you needed multi appliances space was minimal! This is probably because of the old building but an extension lead with extra outlets might be useful for people staying a few days & who might not want to eat out every night!

Amazing Building we had a 2 Bedroom apartment on the top floor. Wonderful views of Dunedin and Ocean. The apartment was spacious and has absolutely everything you need. We stayed over Christmas and were given chocolates on Christmas Eve. Downstairs in entry area beach towels are available and there is a communal laundry which has brand new washer and dryer. There is a variety of cafes and restaurants a couple of minutes walk from apartments. The St Clair pool is walking distance. The staff are so friendly and helpful! The compendium in the apartment was so thorough with so much information and included all the local restaurants menus.

There is nothing to dislike. Just note the building does not have a lift but staff will help you with your bags if you need.
