the staff was so attentive borderline overly but that’s a good thing. even the restaurant staff. obviously the unique Texas lazy River. the location

a tad expensive with no additional benefits (no breakfast or drink or spa vouchers) that almost all the pool loungers had “reserved” designations on them everyday all day without anyone in them. seems kinda “greedy” that on top of the price we already pay you want people to pay extra for loungers. I went on a busy weekend and most people were on the outskirts, no one was in the reserved loungers. seems a waste. plus…with temps over 100 the ground was INSANELY hot! and all the “open” non-reserved loungers were the farthest ones away from the pools. that might be a safety thing to think about. maybe only have 1/2 the amount of reserved signs out OR halfway through the day removed them? I don’t know seems like a waste and not customer oriented

My wife and I celebrated our 21st anniversary. The place was perfect to celebrate our anniversary. The view is impressive especially at night where you can see the lights of the big city of Houston. The room was very comfortable, clean, the bed was very comfortable. The food is very delicious, especially in front of the pool. I will definitely return to this place.

The only thing was that the pool was very cold, obviously it is not in the hotel's control since we went on a date when it was cold. From there everything was perfect in my point of view.

Pool area was very nice! Never felt too crowded. Our room had a wonderful view of the pool area below which was so nice! Breakfast was really nice with many options and even found out that there was some gluten free bread the second morning (I have Celiac disease).

The room price is pretty steep! I am also disappointed with the cost of self park in the garage...I saw a sign for $32 and we paid $45. I figured this was due to fees/taxes, but NO, there were additional taxes of $4.25.

This is one of only two hotels that are connected to the convention center by a walkway. Great restaurants inside the hotel, convenient walking distance from the park and other restaurants in the downtown area. Additionally there's self parking at the convention center connected by the walkway as well as the large rooms, excellent M Lounge with a great breakfast, fitness center, and outdoor lazy river.

What I likes is when my partner and I arrived the hostess at the hotel desk.... Handle getting us a booked room that I had reservations for months. Which means when we arrived at the hotel you guys had no room for us. And like magic there was a room after all. Thank you

I didn't like that the lazy river pool was super cold but so amazing. The pool had a couple broken tiles and it cute my partners leg. But other than that our stay was amazing.

Karen Washington was super nice at the front desk and she was training another young lady. The young man at Sundries was super nice. Room 😍 beautiful. Pool so breathtaking. The staff for breakfast was so great. Food super good. EXCELLENT 👌🏾. I can't think of his name. A young bell boy who's working to be a truck driver was a very AWESOME young man. WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME

We loved the convenience of the location. We walked to the Astro game. We had breakfast at Walker Street Kitchen— the buffet was delicious. The free beer in the lobby was an added bonus.

The only complaint was the noise level late at night, the smell of weed coming from other rooms on our floor and the late night menu was not diet friendly.

cleaning of the room was done well, breakfast was GREAT and the service was exceptional at the morning restaurant, and we LOVE the pool with the lazy river!

in the morining, 8am, the cleaning staff wanted to clean the room. we rushed to leave the room and when we came back at 2pm, the room was not cleaned even after we notified the staff that we are leaving the room for a room cleaning. This only happened once but the cleaning staff seamed mad that we did not move out faster. I felt confused by the staff who seemed pushy about cleaning the room but did not clean the room.

The staff was beyond amazing! Upon check-in, Elisa and Andrew went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable with our stay as they were super friendly and full of good energy and eagerness to help with accommodations since we did early check-in. Also the bartenders at High Dive were beyond awesome as well! We visited High Dive every day of our stay and Aliza, Terri, Ben and Sebastian were definitely the dream team behind the bar and treated us so well and they were super professional and had high energy which was very contagious!! We loved how clean our room was as well as the view of the city, how nice everything looked in the hotel, how attentive all the staff was, as well as the overall location of the hotel too! We will definitely be going back again!!

The pool is the reason to book this hotel, along with its central location. Check-in was smooth and easy and the beds were super comfortable. The staff serving on the pool deck were speedy and friendly.

They do allow day passes for the pool to non-guests which at times meant it was really overcrowded. We had mixed experiences with the front-desk staff.
