I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Beachwalk Bed and Breakfast. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and friendly welcome. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The location is perfect close to the beach and local attractions, making it easy to explore and enjoy the area. Breakfast was delightful, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day right. The hosts were attentive and genuinely caring, ensuring that every need was met without being intrusive. It’s clear that they take pride in offering a top-notch experience. There is truly nothing to dislike about Beachwalk Bed and Breakfast. Every aspect of the stay from the welcoming atmosphere to the spotless rooms and delicious breakfast exceeded my expectations. The attentive service and perfect location only added to the overall enjoyment. It’s rare to find a place where everything comes together so seamlessly, making it an ideal choice.

Once you have checked into the Beachwalk, it is as if you are staying with family/friends. Jackie makes you feel so welcome, and as if nothing is too much. I stayed with my son, but I would be comfortable as a solo traveller being here. The location is perfect. Pretty much opposite the beach (perfect for any triathletes staying in PE for an event on Hobie Beach), plus you are a short walk from a couple of malls that have all you need - Clicks, Woolworths, Pick and Pay, Checkers for snack, and plenty of coffee shops, restaurants.

This property was perfectly placed for the conference I was attending in the nearby Boardwalk Convention Centre. It is also only 100 m from the beachfront. My room was a decent size, quiet, and faced onto a pleasant central garden. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was adequate - although I have had better.

The free WiFi was slow. There was also a notice requesting patrons not to stream movies because the internet was capped. Really?!!!! This is 2023; who doesn't provide fast free internet in this day and age? There was a TV linked to DSTV (digital TV), but I couldn't get it to work properly and, to be frank, I wasn't interested in the limited offering in any case. It certainly didn't compare to my usual streaming service...

A small bench/ chair in the bathroom would be great to place clothes/items when using the shower The sound on the t.v is set so low one can hardly hear. These are however very small issues that do not take away from the overall experience of the place. I would visit again any day.

I had a wonderful stay with Cliff and Jackie! I bookended my BazBus trip here, and had a bit of a complication with which days I was reserving. They were incredibly accommodating, allowing me to check-in/check-out at weird times and store some luggage during my trip. Cliff even waited with outside for a Uber so I wouldn't be waiting by myself. Breakfast had many options and was delicious, and there are some very friendly dogs to greet you in the morning! The beach and mall are within walking distance, and the mall has a little grocery store which made it easy to buy food for the day. I would absolutely stay again.

Jackie and Cliff are amazing, just like the rest of their family. The rooms were beautiful and clean, the pool area was really cute and the breakfast made us feel at home. They also advised us on how to get to see around the town safely and even dropped us off at the harbor. Our stay could not be any better. Thank you!

Hosts Jackie and her Dad are just wonderful. I enjoyed my morning breakfasts with them. The most beautiful touch in mother day Jackie gave me a block of delish chocolate xx

There was nothing I didn’t like.

We had one night at Beachwalk following a couple of nights at a game reserve and didn't want to drive too far. I don't think I would stay at Port Elizabeth/Summerstrand again as there is not that much around, but our night was perfectly acceptable. Due to the drought conditions the pool was out of action but the gardens were still nice to sit in to read and soak up the sun. The room itself was probably the smallest we had during our holiday but had everything we needed and was very clean. Location was handy for the shopping mall and the seafront, and we had a lovely dinner at the nearby Ginger. Breakfast was very good and the host very friendly.

Probably one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in! We were in town for SA triathlon champs and didn’t want to fork out the crazy prices of the hotels so decided to try this one as it was very conveniently located along the beach front (3 min walk) but tucked down one of the roads. Jackie (the host) was so warm and welcoming it felt like a home away from home. The rooms were spacious, spotless, beds comfortable, well furnished with a fridge, kettle, microwave, crockery. I also loved how quiet it was and didn’t even notice the other guests staying there. I am almost hesitant to post this as I don’t want anyone else to know about this this gem of a place! I cannot wait to be back!

It was an amazing place, which was close to the beach. We were able to go for a morning run before heading into our work meetings. The staff felt like family, and they were amazing.
