Walking into the Queen Studio I felt like I was at home. I liked that there was a small living room and small kitchen with all the amenities( fresh ground coffee, toaster, microwave, sink and sponge, wine glasses, etc.) I enjoyed the robe and slippers after my relaxing bath. Yes, Bathtub! The bed was comfortable and I opened my Christmas presents in bed and drank my fresh coffee on the private patio off the bedroom. I also took a nice walk to the pier which was very close by. This was my Christmas present to myself and it was wonderful! Thank you Harbor House Inn for a wonderful stay.

Very helpful and welcoming team on arrival and departure. Room was clean and well equipped with usual kitchen appliances allowing you to cook all your meals if you wanted too. We just made tea and coffee which was provided. Bikes are available but we preferred to walk. Wifi was excellent and location was very close to the beach and a 15 minute walk to the main street with all the shopping and restaurants. We had breakfast in Jeannines and a couple of evening meals at Flor de Maiz ( both on the sea front and less than a 5 minute walk) which I can both heartily recommend. The area seemed very safe with a good number of tourists even in December

Nothing to fault the Harbour House Inn which was really good and highly recommended The only issue for us was walking to the main part of Santa Barbara from the sea front at night which involved walking through the underpass which felt a little uncomfortable as the lighting wasn't great and there were a number of homeless people clearly suffering mental health issues wandering around the place rather than being looked after properly. Everyone we met said that Santa Barbara is very safe but it did make us a little bit nervous walking back from the restaurants in the main part of town.

The rooms were enormous and filled with everything needed for comfort. I enjoyed having a quiet little patio area. I did not take advantage of the spa tub, although it looked tempting. The parking lot was tiny, but I was lucky and found street parking only a few steps away. I was delighted that the two staff people I had dealings with were friendly and helpful. It was really nice to stay near the beach in such a pleasant, quiet setting.

As an older, very short person, I found the height of the bed to be impossible to climb. Fortunately, a sturdy metal wastebasket served as a small "launch pad".

The hotel and grounds were so beautiful. Everything was incredibly clean and neat... you can tell that the owners and employees really care. It was quiet and peaceful. The sheets and towels were so soft. The staff was expedient, kind and knowledgeable. There was a great array of healthy snacks in office, beautiful beach towels to use, bikes to use - absolutely above and beyond my expectations. The grounds are within walking distance of the beach. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The location was perfect for us. Less than half a mile walk to the funk zone where we wanted to hit up some great brew pubs. The hotel was just across the street from beach. The room amenities were awesome from the plush, huge towels to the complete toiletries. The rooms looks recently renovated and our unit 4 even had a small kitchenette. Very impressive so we’re definitely coming back. Everyone was also very nice.

Need better pillows.

The facility/room is always exceptionally clean. We book the Harbor House frequently for its location and comfort and cleanliness of the of the room. My wife and I have stayed here for the past 3 wedding anniversaries in addition to other occasions. We have checked other Inns in the area, but no others have met the excellence the Harbor House offers.

I can think of nothing that we didn't like during our trips there.

Had a kitchenette and was nicely stocked. The staff was friendly and informative. It’s a block from the beach, which was very nice.

SUVs can park in four different parking spots. However, those spots are not reserved only for SUVs. If those spots are taken one has to park on Bath Street, which is OK if the street is not busy, i.e. you are visiting in the middle of the week or in off-season.

Clean room and comfortable bed. Had wonderful coffee and coffee maker in room along with real creamers in the refrigerator which we appreciated. Also provided coffee mugs, wine glasses, plates, bowls and utensils which were nice to have. Location is walking distance to shops and restaurants and the staff were very friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions and directions.

The bedroom and bathroom are on the small side but otherwise it was delightful.

The room was a 7-8 minute walk from the Surfliner train station. The office was had complimentary snacks and after we checked into room #4 it was a little smaller than I thought but still enjoyable. The queen size bed looked smaller than normal but we're small people. We enjoyed the coffee and tea and the complimentary bikes and beach accessories were definitely a plus. This is a small cozy hotel and that gives off family owned and operated(which is plus for us) because they seemed to really care about the property and the people who stay there. We would stay there again and have recommended this property to 3 people

Loved everything about it , the staff are amazing and are really helpful with your stay and advice about things too do , the location is in a nice quiet location two minutes walk to the beach and near some nice restaurants. The accommodation is really good and having a kitchen is a added bonus . They even have towels and beach chairs you can help yourself too
