Amazing location, close to everything. Breakfast was very sufficient and with a good amount of choice. Nice and professional staff. Nice view towards the city.

The room itself was good, but needs refreshments. I understand it’s part of the style of the hotel, nonetheless some furniture was unusable because of its age. For example mirrors so dark and blurred that u can’t see anything or shower head was full of rust.

The staff is extremely nice! Thank you for the service! The room is pretty, but a bit small (as everything in Venice haha), We arrived in November and there was no problem with heating, which is done by AC in the rooms, The whole Hotel looks really pretty. The breakfast is standard hotel breakfast (eggs, fruits, bakery etc.), but nothing was missing and again, the service was amazing. :)

Heating with the AC is new to me, took some time to get used to it. I think the breakfast could have used some more healthy options. The bathroom has no separate heating, that's not so nice. Sill a great place to stay. Maybe more English channels on TV or YouTube at least would be nice.

The warm welcome from the lovely Staff. The comfortable bed and the cosy foyer/ bar area. The position . The hotel really IS a few yards, along a flat path, from a Vaporetto/ Airport Transfer stop. The opportunity to relax and chat with other residents, in the public areas.

The staff were so helpful and were at hand to answer all my questions and offer help whenever needed. I was made to feel welcome in a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere with easy access to all the local sights and felt comfortable and safe in the hotel at all time. Also as a coeliac the gluten free breakfast of bread toasted separately, cornflakes and breakfast muffins was more than I expected and I am grateful to all the staff for all the effort they went to.

There is absolutely nothing I would have changed.

Hotel Bel Sito e Berlino is quite charming in how it carries the old charm of Venice. The staff was incredibly attentive and caring which is greatly appreciated and the location is central enough to make it easy to access key parts of Venice, while staying a bit to the side of the huge tourist groups that swarm most of San Marco. The room was adequate in size and quaint and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The small inner yard was enjoyable for having breakfast (just beware the pigeons, but then again they are everywhere in Venice ;))

You could feel that the rooms are due for a renovation, especially the bathroom. The bathtub couldn't drain all water effectively and it was leaking on the floor. On the first day, I had to call the manager to send someone to fix the toilet as the water was constantly running instead of filling up the tank. And the hair dryer was a little... inadequate.

We returned to the hotel Bel Sito again, twice already this year, this time with friends. And like always, we thoroughly enjoyed the friendliness of the whole staff. Our special mention goes out to the waiter in the bar/breakfast area. The room was clean, the mattress really good quality, the bathroom and shower modern. The historic building is regularly modernized, e.g. the heavy room key got replaced by coded cards. At night, automatically switching on light fascilitates the way to the bathroom. This time we particularly appreciated the Individual room airco. The Bel Sito is our Venetian home. We much value the attentive hospitality of the staff and the excellent location.

We liked everything.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bel Sito e Berlino! Antonio could not have been more helpful and friendly. We arrived into Venice just before midnight and arranged a private transfer through the hotel as we were traveling with elderly parents. The transfer was so easy and we had just a 2 minute walk to the hotel from the pier. This meant the location was also perfect in terms of taking the AliLaguna straight back to the airport. The hotel is a few minutes stroll to St Marco square, Peggy Guggenheim museum, etc and is in a very safe and well lit area. The rooms are spacious and decorated in very traditional Venetian style with fabric lining many walls. The bathrooms are modernised with power showers and are bright and clean. While we did not eat at the hotel, we did enjoy several Aperol/Hugo spritzes there in the evening time. The staff are all superb. It was wonderful to look into the canal from our rooms as the gondolas passed with live singers. Other guests we spoke to overlooked a magnificent old church to the front. We also loved being able to take photos of family on the bridge from the bedroom! Will definitely return! by

Staff, breakfast, location, and authenticity – these are the highlights of this hotel! The hotel aligns perfectly with Venice’s charm. It may look old, but for us, it reflected the true spirit of the city. It’s cozy and full of character. The staff were outstanding – always friendly, helpful, and smiling. It was a pleasure to interact with them. The breakfast was diverse and offered a wide selection, which is rare for Italy. We also had a kettle in our room, and after long days of trips and excursions, we enjoyed relaxing with tea in the evenings – a lovely touch!

Overall, no major complaints, though some may find the interior a bit outdated and worn. However, for us, it felt cozy with a charming Venetian vibe. Please check out my positive feedback.

Location is very nice, you can even come straight into hotel with a taxi boat. A little far to grocery shops to buy something. We had to buy water every day. The staff is very nice and kind, they didn't mind us feeding the pigeons. Breakfast is quite basic, but very good coffee. Very nice not too crowded neighborhood but very close to San Marco. Everything in the hotel looks like 300 years ago, which makes you feel Venice atmosphere. I would come back.
