Beautiful sea view room (amazing sunsets), very quiet location, excellent restaurant for evening meals, good breakfast, very comfy bed, plenty of towels and well-appointed plug sockets (better than most hotels - it's a particular gripe of ours), and plentiful tea and coffee-making facilities. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We also loved the automated dairy at the end of the lane and enjoyed fresh milk and milkshakes most days. The dairy also sells pork pies, cheese, flapjacks and other local items. It was an easy 10 minute walk down to the beach, pretty harbour and Cemaes village. We would definitely recommend the hotel and hope to visit again.

There was no bedside table or bedside lamp on one side of the double bed. We managed well enough for four nights and it didn't spoil our stay, but it was rather inconvenient for the person sleeping on that side of the bed. A corner shelf would have helped.

The position of the hotel is great. A lovely walk to the village across a field. My wife and I were upgraded to a large family room as it was available. No extra charge. The food was excellent.

The TV was on the wrong wall to facilitate watching tv from the bed.

Great situation, very friendly staff, exceptionally clean. Great restaurant for dinner

Room one does not have a good view- it looks over a large shed, a caravan , a large, wide silver pipe and a patch of land. Other rooms would have had a great view I suspect. Breakfast was not good - the continental buffet was excellent but the cooked breakfast was poor. The poached eggs were over cooked and had hard yokes while the whites were sloppy and running in water. It was so disappointing when dinner the evening before was absolutely delicious, well cooked, beautifully presented and served by attentive and friendly staff.

Friendly staff, very helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, and shower was great. The restaurant and bar had a great vibe and food was delicious. Breakfast was provided as well, making the hotel a popular option for travellers. The view from our window was beautiful looking out over some fields to the bay.

Room was a little small for a family, but was fine for a 1 night stay. Be aware, the family room that we stayed in was on the top floor, up several flights of narrow stairs, however the receptionist did offer to get someone to help us if we wanted to take our large suitcases up to the room.

The hotel is lovely. It has a wonderful atmosphere. The bedroom was nicely decorated and comfortable. The restaurant - Bay View- located at the hotel was great and good value. The staff were excellent and so welcoming.

The shower did not work properly and would not change from boiling hot. We had a countryside view so our bedroom was at the back of the hotel and the view was a bit scruffy close up- we were right above a chalet caravan and where the maintenance for the hotel was located- it could be tidier and bit more thought about what the guests can see.

The food was very good at breakfast and dinner.

We ate in the restaurant on two evenings and both occasions we were Plagued by an excess of Dogs on both occasions we were surrounded by SIX dogs, WHY? one couple on both evenings had 3 large dogs at the table, always trying to Sniff the waitresses and making life difficult delivering meals. Perhaps you should limit the number of dogs at a table and in total. I note there were plenty of outside tables unused, maybe the is the place for a doggy paradise.

Lovely welcome from reception. Inviting entrance clean tidy car park and grounds. Room airy, clean and comfy. Bathroom clean and shower strong and hot. Restaurant staff helpful and very cheerful. Food delicious and served attractively. Dining room lovely view of the bay - very busy and lively. Situation amazing - short walk across field down to harbour. Situated right on the coastal walk - delightful.

The breakfast buffet was fresh and well stocked. Fresh fruit salad, pastries etc.Served in a separate room. Lovely staff very cheerful and helpful. Fresh tea and coffee plentiful. We ate late and felt the cooked breakfast had been cooked much earlier and was a little dry - we left most of it however this hasn’t put us off and we will definitely return but book an earlier breakfast slot.

Excellent vegetarian breakfast and plenty of options for cooked or continental and very prompt and friendly service

One slight niggle simply because of some inconsiderate guests is that the Hotel entrance and Veranda should be marked as a No Smoking area. We were sat on the bench near the entrance enjoying the evening sunshine with a glass of wine watching sun sink in the west when a fellow guest stepped outside to have a cigarette. It was very unpleasant for a short while and there is plenty of outside space in the adjacent car park for this obnoxious habit.

One of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had. Beautiful location, really quiet, and just a short walk down to a lovely village and beach. The room was clean and comfortable, and our boys appreciated not having to share a bed. The food was exceptional! The four of us shared starters then each had a different mains and dessert, and every dish was outstanding. Not cheap but worth every penny. Delicious breakfast included, with fresh fruit, yoghurts, pastries and cooked options. And the staff were amazing - great service all round, couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Breakfast was very good with a good selection of cooked breakfasts. My wife & I had two lovely evening meals in the hotel restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly & efficient. We would like to give a special thank you to Andrew the restaurant manager who went out of his way to ensure all diners were well looked after. Our room was large and very clean. Bed was comfortable.

Kitchen extractor fans below our room were noisy and we kept our windows closed when trying to sleep.
