The location was excellent as anywhere on the island is only 30 minutes away. The room was comfortable and quiet with excellent facilities. Everything was there for you without having to ask. The breakfasts were excellent, probably up there with the best, the food was cooked. Perfectly. We had dinner on both nights we were there and the food was superb at reasonable cost. All the staff were very friendly. I couldn’t fault this hotel, having stayed in many over the years. You wont go wrong with this choice. Excellent

The only negative thing was the Heating wasn't powerful enough and thats if I had to look for a negative was really cold through the night . But on the plus side the bedding was exceptional together with the staff , atmosphere, meal and location and Room 21 was ideal . Outstanding a cut above the rest and we have stayed in all of the local hotels. Keep up the good work guys .....your smashing it . Definitely returning . 😍

Everything about Lastra is perfect, especially for Families and dog-lovers. Dogs are considered more than any other place I’ve ever stayed; they have a little kit in the room for you and then a dog washing station after muddy walks! The bar and food are fantastic, and the staff are brilliant from start to finish. All so polite, attentive and friendly! Rooms are spacious, very very clean and incredibly comfortable. With all the amenities, and great bathroom. Try to request a front facing room for the sunset view!

Nothing, but we did have a rear facing room (wasn’t aware about front facing request) so we missed having a view of what is brilliant landscape surrounding the building. Unfortunately just a stone wall haha!

The hotel is situated in Amlwch in the north of Anglesey. We stayed here as we wanted to bring our children to Anglesey for a stop over before we returned home. We had 2 double rooms with ensuite and they were both spotlessly clean, very comfy and had everything we needed. We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal and the food was excellent, staff were friendly no complaints. Breakfast was also fantastic and I would recommend the Full Welsh breakfast. Great place to stay

My partner and I stayed here over New Years Eve and had the most wonderful get away . From the moment we were welcomed at reception the service was exceptional and this continued throughout the stay. The breakfast was high quality and dinner in the restaurant was amazing . The rooms exceeded our expectations and we lived the little touches such as Lastra farm and 2 small bottles of Prosecco for NYE. Thank you for such a memorable stay :)

We felt really looked after. We arrived in gale force winds and there was something banging against the roof of our room. We went downstairs and told Reception and they moved us straight away to a bigger room, which was warm and comfortable. The on site restaurant is excellent and people travel across the island to go there. Lovely breakfast and one of the staff kindly transported our hiking bags to our next hotel for us too. Couldn’t ask for more!

This was our 4th visit to the Lastra Farm Hotel....the cleanliness of the rooms & the entire site was superb. The friendliness & efficiency of the staff was excellent & their care was extended to our small dog who received a fresh cooked sausage every morning. We intend to re-visit the Lastra at least 3 times next year. It is set in the most beautiful surroundings...very peaceful eful & relaxing.

I love the setting. The staff was amazing. Dogs were truly welcome. Even though we didn't take our dog, we would in the future I loved the food. It was nice to have a mini fridge. The bedroom was very comfortable. There was a large shower cubicle. It was nice to have a garden but needed garden furniture. There was a picnic table but too small for adults to sit comfortable. I was so jealous of next doors chairs. I would certainly stay again. Just loved my time there. Arrived home fully relaxed and content

The short walk to Gatehouse where our room was. Car could travel at speed close to us. There is no pavement to walk on, too short to bring a car. The seating area was uncomfortable as there was a sofa bed and one small chair. The garden felt like a farmers field covered in grass. It had deep hiding uneven ground. Only ventured once as my balance is not the best. Still an amazing place to stay.

The room was exceptional, staff were all so friendly and so helpful. We will definitely recommend to friends and family and hopefully we can stop there again. Such a homely place to stay and nothing is too much trouble. They catered for my gluten allergy with the utmost care. Lots of choice too and adapted the food for me. It made my stay a very relaxed one.
