This facility provides rooms at a higher level than Premier Inn, but at a fraction of the "actual" price you will pay at a Premier Inn and it is half board. This is a conference centre so the restaurant is similar to a large facility canteen. There were two or three choices of main course, for dinner, and a hot dessert. There is also a complementary salad bar, cheese bar with a good selection and a cold dessert bar all of which are self service. Tea, coffee and other hot beverages as well as fruit juice were also available all at no extra charge. Breakfast was a good choice of hot and cold food as well as yoghurt and fresh fruit. Local Premier Inns were looking for twice the price I paid (£74.75), without dinner.

No Air con in the room and the window only opened a fraction. Outside of the room was noisy until 10.30 mainly due to the hot weather and the alcohol that some of the residents had imbibed after their relevant meetings. I have been there myself before and it was all quiet after 10.30.

I booked last minute as I needed to be closer to Stafford town centre for the Ironman 70.3 on the Sunday. The hotel was the closest I could find so late in the day. However despite the extra time it took to get into town (30 mins) it proved to be a brilliant find and an ideal pre race base. A quiet location in the country side it had everything catered for. Breakfast and dinner were included in the price and I even had lunch on the Saturday which was great. They also had an in house Costa Coffee. The rooms were spacious and the centre was very quiet.

I needed to make tea and porridge in my room before the race but the kettle's were tiny. Thankfully the staff were very helpful and provided me with two kettle's so it wasn't an issue!

This was a different experience in a conference centre Really nice, clean and comfortable room, with dinner and breakfast included. There is also a small gym, Costa and a bar. The staff were so friendly. Extremely good value for money.

The only downside is it is an isolated location but not a great distance from the motorway. This wouldn't put me off staying again.

Fantastic value for money, especially considering it included breakfast and evening meal. The food was high quality and the staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a great selection for breakfast, and a choice of three options for evening meal, with some cakes in the buffet for a sweet. The location is about half an hour from Alton Towers, which was fine for us. The main building and reception area was modern and looked very professional and suitable for business meetings.

The room was a bit dated and there were some scratches on the wall, but nothing major.

The free meal voucher was great idea within the price

I was very disappointed once in room I could only get 6 tv channels out of nearly 100. There was no signal for majority of the channels. So I had my firestick with me, but it would not fit into USB/HDMI in the back of the tv. Which I assumed all tv's were same fit, so disappointed.

Stained carpets( apart from that all very clean) Only 1 towel for two people. I rang reception and never received more. Had to go and source another from reception myself Found the layout quite different to usual hotel stays but got used to it after the initial strangeness

The food was lovely, the staff were friendly and it was easy to find.

I asked for ground floor, twice, when I booked and they allocated me first floor and were unable to move me. I asked if the shower was in the bath and was told no. It was. I have arthritis which is why I asked for the ground floor etc. The mattress was also very hard.

This is a large, well run conference centre Clean and functional. The staff were pleasant. This is a pleasant area but not very exciting. The evening meal was standard carvery. breakfast was great. Our deal was half board and excellent value.

I loved the evening dinner and breakfast. Room was amazing and I loved the shower gel and I meant to ask for a sample bottle to take home but I have the make so going to google and buy some on line.

The only think I have a wee gripe about was no hot chocolate enabled from the machine in the restaurant and no cream/custard for the pudding.

The food was good, well presented and the restaurant was spacious, comfortable. In all, our dining experience was excellent. Massive carpark, no parking difficulties, that for me is a massive bonus.

The room was quite small. It felt odd that reception, bar and restaurant are in a separate building from the accommodation blocks.
