Good location, friendly and helpful staff on reception, good size apartment, well equipped kitchen and great shower

TV remote control didn't work - we asked for new batteries but they never appeared. Not a major problem but disappointing as couldn't watch tv in morning or evenings. Kitchen cupboard was loose - hinge nearly fell off but we reported it to reception. Not many sunbeds round the pool and quite shady.

Quiet and good location

Not much just was a bit put out with people putting towels on sunbeds early and not returning til lunch to use them. Should be a rule that they are taken away after certain time. The pool cannot be used til 9 so no towels before that. Also no real problem but one of the bed bases was very squeaky and my friend was a complete fidget so it disturbed me.

Location was fabulous. Close to beach, easy walk to restaurants and shops. The Hoposa Montelin was peaceful and quiet, lovely to relax by the pool, whilst over at the Villaconcha the pools were great fun for the kids. Plenty of sunbeds available. The daily maid service made sure the apartment was kept very clean and the grounds are very well kept. All staff were helpful.

Service at the bar/cafe could be a bit slow during the day. A bit too formal when you just want a drink and the kids an ice cream by the pool.

Property was amazing and a brilliant location for cyclists. I was moved to the main hotel as I imagine they were consolidating rooms due to the end of season approaching. Pool and bike storage are both perfect and the room was very comfortable and felt very high end. All the staff were exceptionally friendly.

I didn't realise on booking that the large pool and sauna came at an additional cost. Didn't rate the food in the restuarant too highly, especially for the cost.

The Montelin was very quiet and you could enjoy peace to read a book and sit by the pool or swim. The apartment and pool area was cleaned thoroughly every day and the facilities for self catering were good. We liked the flexibility that you could use the facilities at the Villa Concha across the road ie the gym, the large lane swimming pool. It was very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. One of the Reception staff very kindly gave me a yoga mat to use for the week which allowed me to practice on the grass by the pool each morning. We had the buffet breakfast on 4 occasions and the selection of healthy options was first class and good value for money. We enjoyed having the flexibility of eating out in the many nice restaurants in Puerto Pollenca and Pollenca town in the evening.

I have stayed in the Montelin on 4 or 5 occasions and as much as I liked the quietness and the atmosphere, most of the apartments are spacious and overlook the pool area. However, on this occasion due to booking later on we were located in the corner and didn’t get a great view of the pool and the balcony was rather small compared to the other apartments. I have stayed in the corner rooms twice and for that reason, I would probably book the Villa Concha next visit. However, I cannot fault the quality or cleanliness of the rooms. They were very comfortable.

Location and facilities are great for families

The service at the bar and restaurant at lunch is painfully slow and our orders were often forgotten or took more than 30mins to arrive. Not great when you have a very hungry young child.

We were booked into the Hoposa Montelin, but it wasn't quite open for the season so we actually stayed at the sister hotel opposite, The Villaconcha, where the dining and facilities are all located. Everything about the hotel is fantastic, particularly if you are training for an Ironman or Tri event - the swimming lanes, the bike hire and the well-equipped gym incl. two top-end BH treadmills for runs. The location is great for starting Formentor climbs, and there are cycle lanes and routes everywhere starting not far from the hotel - we got dropped off at Andratx one morning and cycled back predominantly on quiet roads and cycle routes with virtually no cars. And beyond all this the best bit - the amazing and professional hotel team who run a totally slick operation and are all really switched on to hotel guests needs - I didn't manage to get too many names, but Ariadna on reception, all the brilliant restaurant team and Cristian in the bar were all wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. It was so good in fact that we're going back again in 3 weeks time !

The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short stroll to the busier Pine Walk area of Puerto Pollensa and the harbour. We were only there for two nights so didn't make use of the facilities - we were out and about meeting friends. The buffet breakfast was excellent.

We were very satisfied with all aspects of the hotel.

Good two weeks of training, Lane pool always available, rooms cleaned daily, staff friendly and helpful, food was good. Close to the beach quick access for open water swimming . Couple of minutes walk to the shops bars and restaurants.
