The hotel was beautiful and both rooms were clean and comfortable

When we arrived and checked in, I asked the staff in reception to check whether my rate included breakfast. I was told it did not include breakfast (therefore we did not have it as went elsewhere!) but we were then charged EUR50 for breakfast! When I complained I was told to send an email which I did. They replied saying they were sorry they gave me the wrong information and they’d offer us complimentary breakfast next time we go there! As we live in London and were in Trieste on holiday, I asked to give us complimentary breakfast in a different NH hotel as wouldn’t go back to that hotel but I never got a reply. I thought that was a bit rude. They made a mistake, they admitted it, but didn’t solve the issue and I was overcharged !

Breakfast buffet was excellent

Staff was rather impersonal. My wife and I sat in an empty breakfast buffet area at a table of four and was informed that we should have selected a table for two🤨

Location is superb, we walked to the station.

Parking was confusing to unload the luggage. Food had little veggies.

Upgrade on facilities in the rooms, the room and the bathroom was nice, noise cancellation from others next to us. The service was exceptional and the personnel very nice. We had a nice experience and had a tasty breakfast. There was no issue entering the hotel late in night.

As double bed was two single beds together, the gap in the middle wasn't comfortable for a couple sleeping comfort, as well as one of the mattress was so hard and the other one was way softer. It would be nicer and more relaxing sleep to have softer mattresses if not possible to have a double/king size bed but two single beds put together won't do the comfort. On the first night of arrival we weren't told there is an option of room service.

Breakfast was excellent and staff were helpful. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Good location. Complimentary water in lobby was nice but not always there.

Reception: Check in was very slow We got two doubles instead of two twins but this was rectified. Staff were not friendly Desk was undermanned. Had to wait 10 minutes to book a taxi Request for restaurant to be called to ask for birthday treat was not complied with Room: Not enough hangers in wardrobe Hairdryer didn’t work Not enough space for two people to unpack. Shower not slip resistant No hand rail in shower

Good location. Close to the harbour and also very close to the pedestrian area where you can find a lot of shops and boutiques. Breakfast offerd all we needed. From different sausages and cheese via scrambled eggs and ham to muesli and cakes next to good coffe and cold fruit drinks.

Check-In: when we arrived, we had to wait for almost half an hour. Only one employee at the desk - and several guests waiting. Some minutes are ok, but half an hour is too much. The heating in one room didn't work. After complainig, we got a discount on our bill - that's a nice compensation, but.... Arriving by car: Terrible - absolute NO parking slot - also during check-in...

I want to highlight the reception staff on arrival Mikela who was exceptional and so helpfull with directions and advice, her customer service skills are hard to find in this society. Well done and made our stay a joy

I asked if we could order a specific brand of whiskey but it was not available. I have stayed in previous hotels who met with my request on numerous occasions , this is only a small fault which would have made our birthday celebration superb

A very nice modern hotel very close to the Centrale train station. My room was a good size and very comfortable and was cleaned very well everyday. I would definitely stay again. It’s quite expensive but I think worth the money.

The shower screen leaked so we always had water on the floor after a shower but it wasn’t a big deal.

Breakfast was great, so was dinner. My daughter loved the lemon chicken with steamed rice. Asif was lovely and so was the Lady that served us breakfast in the morning on the 19th of March, such a shame did not get her name, but she was awesome. Reception staff was superb, Michela was ever so helpful. It was also my birthday and one of the housekeepers stopped to wish me a happy birthday. Everyone in the hotel is ever sooo friendly..cannot fault our stay! We are looking forward to returning, cannot wait. Thank you for the awesome stay.

The restaurant was closed on the Sunday for dinner and that was disappointing.

Very comfortable bed! Well appointed room. Accommodating staff . Excellent breakfast.

Wifi was weak/non-existent at times. Also, could not use a second device, even when wifi turned off completely on device used to sign on originally. Find it frustrating in this day, at a purported 4-star hotel to have poor connectivity or to have to pay a premium for decent service!
