As walkers the position was great we could either walk to the gorge walk or to bowling club and cafes in the opposite direction. Cylinder Beach and hotel were just down the road as well. Our unit was quiet even though close to the pool and tennis court and it was during the school holidays. The unit was fully self contained and cool enough even without air conditioning.

Although the bathroom had obviously had a recent refurb the apartment itself and lounge furniture were quite dated. The separate (and only) toilet was good but definitely not suitable for larger holidaymakers it was definitely on the smaller side.

The management were extremely helpful, before arrival and during our stay. They suggested a place on the grounds and helped us with tables and chairs for a 70th Birthday party for my husband. Early check-in on arrival was a bonus as well. The room was spotless, even though a little dated, and the views across the water from the large balcony was stunning, even though the room was not at the front of the resort. We still spotted whales, so bring binoculars! The units are spacious and fully equipped for a comfortable stay.

Not a complaint, but if you have any mobility issues, the stairs are steep and the carpark isn't at the front door, although there is a trolley available to bring you bags to your unit. There is only one bathroom, so may need to go up and down a few times!

The location was perfect and close to all local amenities. We really loved the the view from the room and how comfortable and homey the accommodation was. The lady who checked us in was so lovely and gave us so many options of what to do on the island, which had us doing things we would have never known were there. Really such a lovely experience and we would def come back in the future. We asked for a later check out which wasn’t an issue and really was great to have a base for the last day prior to getting a later ferry back.

Maybe for the bed to be a little bigger, but it was very comfortable.

We stayed for 2 nights and found the Manager to be friendly with great directions and advice on sightseeing on the island, beach locations upcoming events and restaurant dining tips. The Pub courtesy bus dropped us off to the apartment one night which was handy after a few drinks. Pandanus was just a short stroll back along the beach scenic route to pick up the car next day. We didn’t have a 4WD but there was road access and I recommend bringing a car to really make the most of your time on the island. We saw amazing sunrise/sunsets, whales, dolphins, a turtle, manta rays, kangaroos and curlews. The property had a Pool and Tennis court on the premises. The on-site restaurant is under renovation. The apartment itself was not new but definitely beach vibes cute with a lot of doors and access options. The complex was peaceful and the rooms were comfortable with fitting artwork and decor. Towels had a Pandanus embroidered logo on them- a nice additional touch. Kitchen/Dining/Lounge upstairs was well equipped with a fantastic view of the ocean off the verandah perfect for whale watching.

The Ironboard Lining/ cover requires replacement. Knife block had a ‘huge’ knife that didn’t fit with blade exposed. It’s probably too big for any requirements in the Kitchen- could do without. Dryer Lint Filter was broken which causes a lot of mess if used. Probably could use a new one.

Nice size. We stayed in winter, however it had all the facilities you would need for warmer weather - pool, tennis, etc. Clean & tidy.

Too far from shops, restaurants. Must have a car. No toilet upstairs. Bed was not very comfortable. Villa had very little view of the beach - unlike we thought.

Very friendly staff, large and well appointed house with a beautiful ocean view. The properties had more amenities than required, with a barbecue, full-size kitchen and three outdoor seating areas.

Location was quite far from the key beaches and sites of interest on the island when travelling without a car. The resort could have done with having a pool available. The TV in the house was old and could be replaced with a newer one for the price.

Pool could be open a little longer than 7.00pm - on scorching hot days it's nice to cool down in the evening. Our apartment (34) could have done with towel hooks in the toilets (really had to think hard to come up with a criticism :))

Well located, clean and all amenities present.

Sound of the sewerage system. Mugs too little, but this is picking stuff… generally no issues. Late check out request could not be accommodated due to school holiday preparation when holidays only started in a week. Communication during the stay wasn’t great.

The location, view and ease of it all. Loved the apartment had everything and anything you could need. Plus the beds were very comfortable.

The smell of the garbage disposal in kitchen sink. We didn't use this sink at all it smelt vial so put a towel over the whole sink. The rest of the apartment was immaculate. No aircon downstairs not sure how that'd be in peak of summer.
