⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Experience From the moment we arrived at InterContinental Washington DC for a mother daughter weekend, we were treated like royalty. The attention to detail and the warm hospitality of the staff made my stay truly exceptional. The rooms were immaculate, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking views. Every amenity was thoughtfully provided, ensuring a comfortable and luxurious experience. The staff went above and beyond to cater to our every need. They were not only professional but genuinely friendly, always greeting me with a smile and offering assistance whenever needed. Their knowledge of the local area was impressive, providing excellent recommendations for dining and activities. Overall, our stay at InterContinental Washington DC exceeded all expectations. The combination of the stunning property, world-class facilities, and outstanding staff made for an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

The location is phenomenal, it's close to restaurants, walking distance for events, close to all major attractions. Great for site seeing and taking walks, get on boats and take a tour of the Potomac river. If you love taking pictures this is the ideal location. The hotel staff, valet, security, rooms were all exceptional and made sure your stay was pleasing.

No complaints

Location is great within the Wharf. Staff was incredibly kinda and welcoming (including the door men). Room was great and the request put in my notes upon booking were looked at an actioned (thank you!). This hotel is clean and a great place to stay. I'm a member of the Hyatt and Marriot and this doesn't often happen. Roof top pool - Wow! Can't wait to to come back. I also appreciated the house keeping text of Y/N housekeeping and time requested for this.

My hotel door of room 713 did not shut automatically. The first night I slept I realized the next morning it was still open. Might be worth looking into.

Location, beds were comfortable, beautiful hotel, valet, spacious rooms, decor, quiet, great views, allowed early check in

Unsolicited charges for mini-fridge items that were not taken, was told at time of booking a month prior as well as at check in that I had late check out but 20 minutes prior to original check out time of 11am, was told it was no longer available because they were fully booked & I would have to pay a fee for more time.

We had a view of the alley archway, it was actually very beautiful, kids loved it. Each staff member I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the little extra time on our checkout day to pack and the option they provided to hold our bags while we walked around for the last time. Absolutely no complaints about our stay.

No umbrella or shades by the pool. In the July heat we couldn't stay out for too long, but we made the most of it. The view was amazing!

Excellent front counter reception staff who made both check in and check out smooth and assisted with valet parking. Very helpful and regularly checked in with us to see how things were going and if they could provide any other assistance. So delighted that they found a lost item that was personally important and treasured.

The best feature of this hotel is the views of the river and parts of DC. The room was also sparkling clean. The managers were very responsive when we learned we had been given an incorrect room and were quick to solve the issue. They also sent a very nice gift to our room as we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary.

The check-in experience wasn't smooth: it appeared that my reservation had been cancelled and there was another one under my name that didn't match what I had paid for, ie, a premium King room with river view. We had to find this out after going up to our room and realizing it wasn't what we had paid for. Upon going back to the front desk I was able to inquire about the situation. I received a good response from one of the managers. We couldn't understand though what had happened with my original reservation. I didn't have any record of cancelling it, in fact, it had always shown up on my Booking app. Fortunately, they were able to immediately fix the situation and give us the room I had asked for.

Staying on the Warf was so amazing the views and other businesses to visit made a great experience. We arrived at 5:30am on a red-eye from Boise, ID. They got us checked in! Absolutely wonderful! If we saw an employee on the premises they introduced themselves and asked how we were enjoying our stay and if we needed anything. We received a text message every day to ask if we needed housekeeping or supplies.

I am not sure if this is applicable to the hotel, as I am not sure if the Moon Rabbit is affiliated or just attached. However, the two visits we made to the restaurant were so incongruous with the hotel experience that it was more shocking. The response from the staff was absurd we said we were interested in just a snack and refreshments. We were told not very politely that the tables in the restaurant were "reserved only for dinner" and the patio tables were "only for dinner guests". It was very confusing since we arrived after 8pm and more than 15 tables were unoccupied. If we "wanted to sit at the bar" (with no available seating) or "take our drinks and appetizers to another location within the hotel" we could..... we went somewhere else.

Customer service was outstanding. Marisse Wong is the assistant manager and she went far above and beyond to make our stay incredibly accommodating. Also, the security, valet, and food service staff were also excellent! I'm a executive protection agent that travels with a CEO... we stay at many of the Top Line hotels all around the country and much to my surprise this one stood out Above the Rest. This property has figured out what's missing in the world. Good people! Other hotels like St Regis, Ritz etc have fancy designs but the staff is unremarkable. We will definitely be staying at The Intercontinental Washington DC The Wharf again and look forward to seeing Marisse Wong in the very near future. Thank you for your outstanding service it is much appreciated

Nothing.... this place is the best!

Great location, good food at breakfast

The crib I requested was not available and the hotel sent me an email warning about it just a few hours before checkin, when it wasn’t possible for me to cancel the reservation or bring my own portable crib. Luckily they found one after I arrived, but it was an inconvenience that could have been avoided had they warned me earlier
