The price was right! I was nervous because of other reviews I read, but it was available and affordable and really quite wonderful. Phenomenal location right between Wells and Ogunquit. It has a campy vacation vibe without sacrificing cleanliness and comfort. House keeping was cute too. My littles travel with baby dolls and every time we come in for the night, the Dolls were neatly tucked in.

The sliding glass doors felt unsecure. However it was also nice to have a screen door to let in fresh air in while we were awake. The beds made loud metallic popping noises every time we rolled or repositioned.

The rooms were huge and the pool looked nice but we did not use it. The staff were awesome and that made up for the few little things that were not. It was very laid back and casual and I have no complaints. We would definitely stay again.

The website is inaccurate. The trolleys do not stop at the property but the closest stop is a 5 min walk. No info was given on breakfast or where to find it and the office seems to close from 9pm - 9am so we could not ask until they opened. Then again, I could have asked at checkout too. Rooms are huge and beds are comfortable but small. Not really good for two people. These are just little things and I still loved this place and would stay there again.

Needed stay to split the distance between Old Orchard Beach, ME and Hampton Beach, NH. Geographically, this was about as perfect as I could hope for. Further, asked for ground floor, as my wife has trouble walking (long distances, and/or stairs). This, too, was done... easy access to the pool area and the office. Room is obviously older, but no issues with layout. Also, no noise issues...traffic or neighbors... it was a great stop for two days, allowing us to meet friends and hit the beaches.

The only complaint is the room air-conditioning. Room wasn't musty, fully, but wasn't fresh air clean either. We prefer to sleep in cooler, dark, space. Room was plenty dark, but the a/c never really got down to even 70 degrees, never mind any colder.. and that, maybe right AT the a/c unit, but certainly not into the room... again, two day mid-week stay.. did meet other patrons and enjoyed that part... we needed a 'base' and it did that just fine

The staff was very accommodating. There were some computer problems when first checking in and assigned room had a/c problem. But, the staff expedited correcting the issue and were very apologetic even though it was no fault of their own. The housekeeping and maintenance staff were very quick to help wherever they could. and were very pleasant. The property is dated yet clean and quiet and had everything we needed for our stay. Central location to all the happenings at a good price.

A great example of getting everything I need in a hotel/motel while not having the price jacked up for frills. Very clean, absolutely no smell even though the room allowed pets, good hot water pressure, good beds, exactly the three rooms the description promised. Were things old fashioned? Definitely - at 55 I was quite nostalgic.

Closest thing to a knock would be that the doors to every room are sliding glass doors, so if you are very security conscious I would spend a few bucks on one of those locking bars to put in the door while you are out. I didn't feel the need to - the place is very fully lit at all times, always had an employee or two around and always felt very safe to me - but I could imagine some people wanting to.

Fantastic location and the best value on Rt 1 by far. We were able to catch sunrise on the Marginal Way less than 10min away for a $100 hotel stay. Our dinner at Mikes Clam Shack cost more than the hotel room.

TV didn’t work, phone was unplugged, and it smelled a little funky, but we were just super happy to be that close to the ocean for Sunset and Sunrise. Would totally come back again. They made me sign a few things about not having pets. I am guessing some of their guests have broken their policy and had pets jack up their rooms. I had to sign that I’d be charged $500 if they found out I had pets with me. I don’t recall signing this at other hotels I’ve stayed at, so I am guessing it was an issue at some point, which may have explained why I thought it smelled a little funny. I may just be sensitive to the hotel cleaning chemicals too.

This is a cute hotel in a great location. The check-in staff were super friendly and check-in took 2 seconds. The pool was heated. We met a couple of other nice families staying and shared s'mores at the fire pit with them. My husband cooked dinner on one of the community grills, which was a nice way to save some money on eating out. There's a really cool trinket store across the street, lots of Maine souvenirs bought there. Overall, great stay!

It is a little outdated, but for the price and other features mentioned above - that really didn't matter!

Better than expected for this 2 star motel. People were friendly area was quiet for being off Route 1. We didn't walk around the area because we drove to town and to the ocean. The room had nice character with the beamed ceilings and updated room. The beds were very comfortable and all the appliance worked well except the TV picture needed to be manually turned on (reported to front desk). People were enjoying the outdoor pool.

Affordable and great location. Close to beaches, restaurants, shopping, Mini Golf and movie theater. Comfortable beds. Very clean. And a beautiful pool.

The living room has only a small love seat to sit on. Could definitely use a full size couch especially if you have more than 2 people staying. Luckily we had beach chairs so our Grandson had something to sit on. More silverware would be helpful and dish soap would be helpful. And there is a small fridge but no freezer. Make sure you bring a cooler if you're staying longer than one night.

We looked for the cheapest room in the area knowing it wouldn't be the greatest. This was the cheapest room and was better than we expected. We would book again very well lit place

We didn't take showers because the tub wasn't very inviting. No bathroom vents.. Had a vent grill hanging from the ceiling.
