This place is so beautiful. The view from our balcony was gorgeous. My cousin, who normally books with air bnb, was impressed. I'm so glad I booked a room like a year before Coachella. The price and location was great being it was weekend 2 of the concert. The young gentleman at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. Kuddos to him. The bed was comfy and the room and bathroom was spacious.

The shower door didn't keep the water from coming out, so when stepping out of the shower, I would step in a pool of water. There was also a wine glass that had a huge crack and ended up breaking as soon as I took it out.

We were so happy to come back to Shadow Mountain Resort, the best place ever, comfortable room we stayed before too, very nice big swimming pool, nice spa, very quiet , great view, flowers everywhere. Chris at the reception was so friendly and professional, helped us with all our questions. We had a great vacation. Very private atmosphere and quiet. Also we stayed with 15 months old baby and crib was provided. Thank you so much. We will definitely come back👍🏻

Unfortunately, cafe in the resort had very limited hours of operation. We stayed four days, and it was closed all of these days.

Our family of four, including kids ages 9 and 14, stayed in a two bedroom villa on the second floor overlooking one of the smaller pools. The location was perfect and the stairs to get up to the place were easy for us. Our unit was spacious and filled with light. We felt very spoiled to be in such a beautifully updated unit since Shadow Mountain is an older resort and some units are quite dated. We loved that the unit had card and board games to play! And the Prada wall art in the kitchen was not lost on us. Overall, great Palm Springs vibes. It was very easy to walk to the large pool, gym, or the small pool near our unit. The smaller pool was very private and quiet. Each pool has a hot tub! We walked to El Paseo (the upscale shopping area) every day multiple times and it felt very easy. It was a pleasant walk, maybe 5-10 minutes. Plenty of good restaurants around. We drove to a couple because they were more than a mile away and we didn't want to walk that far. It was helpful to have a car but not totally necessary.

Unfortunately the bed in the master bedroom was uncomfortable and had even worse pillows. We slept very poorly. It was also a queen size bed which always feels small to me since I'm used to a king. At night there was noise and we weren't sure where it was coming from but it woke us up a couple times. Maybe another unit nearby? But the biggest issue was the pillows. Also, the office staff were a little stingy with the pool towels. We had a big group and wanted extra towels and they cut us off at some point even though there were not a ton of people at the pool that day.

Good location, clean and beautiful view.

On the last night of my stay, I had trouble with the key — it was extremely difficult to unlock the door. I tried to find someone to help, but it was late at night after the Coachella music festival, and there was no one at the lobby. After struggling for about 30 to 45 minutes, I was finally able to get inside. I almost cried but I finally laughed. I had all the videos , that’s so funny and worrying.

We loved our stay and we don't even play tennis or golf! We loved the vibes of a place that goes back to the '50's. And the staff was just so incredibly warm and friendly! Julian at the front desk could not have been more helpful with a check-in request and Javier at the cafe made sure we were treated with lots of TLC. Our room was comfortable and clean and spacious. Can't wait to come back.

Great location. Nice pools and many tennis courts

Our studio was very dark. Had recessed lighting but very dim. One bedside lamp was not working. Could not read at night because the lighting was so poor. Maybe if there was a lamp near the couch it would gave been better. Nice balcony looked over the tennis courts Only stairs to the second floor. Difficult if you are an older adult

Not too busy. Pretty location and well-maintained for its age. The restaurant, Above the Eight, was excellent and the staff were personable and friendly. The pool-side service was a pleasant surprise.

Had a few issues with the room, namely the Wi-Fi. We didn’t know about much of the Resort’s offerings so we had to ask the front desk for help a lot.

It was our second time of stay in Shadow Mountain Resort & Club. And it was great! Our room was very clean, bed is comfortable, amazing swimming pool, huge balcony😁 It was so quiet and peaceful in the resort, it’s excellent place of stay for the couples and families! Swimming pool was very clean. Amazing Mountain View😍 Beautiful flowers around the swimming pool. We also enjoyed pool bar, very polite and friendly stuff, delicious cocktails 🍸The guy at the reception was also very friendly and professional. we had a wonderful vacation with my husband. We will definitely come back🤗

Our studio room was very large and comfortable. I appreciated the full kitchen even though we only prepared breakfast. The pool area was very attractive. There were many restaurants in close proximity.

Rooms were not made up. We have never stayed in a resort that doesn’t do this so we were surprised to stay for 4 nights and to have had no contact at all from staff
