There could have been more staff at the front desk, waiting a few times. Layout of lavatory, could have been located in the niche outside the door so makeup, hair and teeth brushing could be done while others are using the tub/ shower or throne. Slight restriction in tub drain backed up when showering, I had to clean and mess with the stopper. One of the chargers didn't work off the lamp. Heater coming on seemed loud.

Grounds were beautiful. Pool was warm and comfortable. Golf course grounds are very well maintained, staff was pleasant, pro shop cashier was very knowledgeable and informative.

Some of the linens were dingy and had micro cuts in them. Pool did not have food or drink service, and pool bar was closed. With the exception of the ground floor, walkways were in need of serious cleaning. I know the hotel is one of the oldest in the city, but the value to price, is as not worth it.

The bar food was excellent. The room was on the ground floor and a corner room so it was quiet and quite large. The furnishing felt a little dated but the room was quite nice overall.

The room was next to an alleyway (within the hotel complex) that was used by the restaurant service staff and so it was actually quite noisy (especially early in the morning). It also meant that the small patio area was not all that private and we found ourselves breathing in the smoke from the hotel staff that smoked just around the corner (in the alleyway).

I like fact that it was a historical hotel and that there was a lot of history in the area. I also liked the amount of restaurant and shops near by and San Marcos golf course.

That when I booked my reservation I was given one price and upon arrival I was given a different price. I had to spend various hours during two days to get it corrected. The other issue was debris coming out of the air ducts.

What an incredibly stunning hotel. The pool was amazing, each courtyard area was beautiful and the breakfast was fantastic.

Only thing that could have made it better is if the rooms had a microwave!

Having to pay an extra 30 dollars a day for so called resort fees at time of check in. So called resort fees included 2 complimentary bottles of water. WiFi and use of swimming pool..

I liked the lobby, the guest room and the staff. We had a few drinks at the lobby bar and the drinks were reasonable with good pours. I especially liked the rate even including the annoyingly elevated "fees and taxes'.

The breakfast place looked boring so I walked somewhere else. The food and service may be great but I didn't try it. I went to try to find the golf course and saw the clubhouse from afar as it looked like a lot of construction or something going on. Finally, I lot of the outdoor plants under the corridors looked like they were struggling or dead or both.

The front desk staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Beautiful lobby and bar. The surrounding business gave off very nice atmosphere. We hung outside for awhile after our event.

West elevator, was very slow. The bar was not open early Saturday morning.

Older property, but very well maintained. Spotless! Pool was great and breakfast was excellent. Close to shops and restaurants.

Didn’t like to go outside in bad weather to go to lobby snd hotel restaurant
