Location was ideal, room had a lot of nice features including a small table i found very useful, cleanliness was excellent, towels were really nice

Only thing I really could have done with is a hairdryer which i could not find in the room, however i did not ask staff and they may indeed have been able to supply one?

It is within 3 mins walking distance to Katoomba train station (BMT Line). The public bus no. 686 is opposite the hotel entrance, providing easy access to Echo Lookout point and Scenic World without the need of car hire. There're lots of restaurants nearby within walking distance at Katoomba Street. The Coles supermarket is about 10 mins walk. Coin laundry-matic services are 20 mins walk near Aldi, Katoomba St (after Waratah St). There's a "drop key" box available for express checkout.

I've stayed here before and was very impressed. The accommodation is everything you'd want, clean, very comfortable, warm. Cool blinds mean you can let in as much or as little light as you like. I made use of the fridge and kettle, took the biscuits for the trip home. Had drinks in the bar, the staff were all lovely.

Nothing! The only thing that was tricky was the bathroom/shower being a little bit cramped, and the water pressure wasn't great. But honestly, it was warm, and did the job.

We had a room booked for 3 people. The bathroom was so small you could barely move in it. The room was also too small for 3 people. If they don't have rooms big enough for 3 people they shouldn't sell them for 3 people. For this reason I feel this needs to be mentioned. There is also no lift so if you can't walk very well as one of us couldn't due to a broken ankle it's pretty difficult getting to your room. Having said all of the above the staff were so kind and helpful and really made the place and the guy in the off licence too. It's a nice friendly place and clean but the rooms are so small.

So Day 1 on our 12 day ride we stayed in Katoomba. I had dinner here 6 years ago and remembered it was a cool old PUB. So I booked rooms here for the group. They have been remodeling the property for some time now. It looks great. Rooms were brand new and pub look good.

Parkinf was limted but that will change when remodel is done.

Nice refurbished rooms. Good feel to the hotel and pub downstairs. Not too noisy (could hear music through floor but barely). Staff super friendly. Good location for walking into Katoomba (3 sisters about 45mins walk away).

No hairdryer, quite expensive but did accidentally go on Easter weekend.

it was spotlessly clean! had everything we needed! the staff were all so welcoming and friendly!! the food & service we received in the bistro was outstanding! i one of us in the group reckons it was THE best chicken parmigiana in her life!! and we all unanimously agreed that the cheesy garlic bread was the best we’ve ever had in all our lives!!! thank you for making our visit so special and memorable, considering it was a very impromptu lady minute girls trip/birthday celebration - we are so glad we did, a birthday to remember! we will be back!!! thank you hotel Katoomba :’)))

Newly renovated rooms. Good reno and furniture with new carpets, beds, furniture, kettle, fridge and bathroom. Air con unit worked well too. Great location near Station Q (fab pizzas), Brewery next door and bus stop outside.

Late night music on Fri/Sat which made the 10.00am check out a little early. Rooms a little small for the price.

We were very happy with our stay. Rooms were comfortable and clean and had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. Pleasantly surprised! Location is great too, lots of eateries just down the road. Plus, the live music in the hotel was great and we had a lovely evening listening to the local talent.
