Room was comfortable and clean. Recently updated too.

Staff seem inexperienced and weren't too proficient in English. Breakfasts were no were near as good as they used to be unfortunately. Full hit buffet breakfast used to be offered here as standard. No hot food now eg. Bacon and eggs, beans etc. Unless you pay from $15 to $30 for them. Kitchen staff for breakfast lacked experience and were not too attentive. Running out of knives twice, spoons, pancake machine not working, milks needed, butter needing topping up twice in one breakfast service of less than 1 hour. Food options for breakfast need improving and all staff at breakfast and at reception need further training. Grounds were lovely and well kept. Rooms were clean and today and recently updated.

The property is really nice and quiet. Staff are approachable and helpful as well.

Check-in time is 2:00 pm, but when we arrived there the reception lady said our room wasn’t cleaned yet hence not yet ready for check in. There were also a number of guests who were waiting to get into their rooms but turns out they are short of staff, there were only 4 staff to prepare rooms. We got very late into our room at around 6:30 pm and there were also other guests still waiting to get to their rooms. We felt sorry for the staff as they were also very tired.

Three dirty laundry bags left outside our room the whole time we stayed, breakfast was very average. Receptionist valued her paperwork over the customer and spoke very fast to tick a box of what she had to say.

Great gardens and easy access & nice shower

We have a dog and therefore we searched for a dog friendly property. I was happy when this property came up as it was suitable for us and our friends. BUT, I rang to double check about having our dog stay to be told that we can only book a room with a courtyard which was $190 more. I questioned this because it was not specified on booking.com and was advised that it was a problem with the booking.com platform so they could do anything. If I had made the original booking seemingly I would have been too on arrival to pay more or I would not be able to stay. Wha kind of service is that???? So ended up paying more.

Garden view room was a great size. Very comfortable bed and great storage area attached to the bedroom. Staff were very friendly and the included breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room overlooking the garden was a great space.

The room looked a little dated and the bathroom door didn’t seem to be properly painted. Although there was an exhaust fan in the bathroom it didn’t seem to work very well, making it hard to see in the mirror. It also meant the towels didn’t dry which weren’t changed during our 2 night stay.

Really enjoyed my stay- I stayed here years ago when the hotel was under the Waldorf banner & I even had the same room this time around. It is so good to see the resort has had a renovation with more modern furniture and paintwork, even the updated gardens. Rooms are clean & comfy. The staff were very friendly (my cleaner for Room 240 was exceptional and very sweet!)☺️

2 things for friendly ideas to improve on an otherwise great experience: The ability to incorporate streaming services on the TV, which only runs free to air channels with no ability to stream/ watch the internet for shows from a phone. In this day and age, most hotels provide either Foxtel or access to stream something other than free to air entertainment. Would love to see the Jasmine Restaurant up and running again for dinner for Guests. The Waldorf had a great menu (back in the day) and this makes it easy to not have to leave the resort for dinner each night. I stayed 4 nights and had to drive to Leura town for dinner every night so having the Jasmine open for dinner would be a blessing. Fingers crossed for next visit. Overall though, a great stay!

We had a great last-minute stay and were especially grateful that the hotel is pet-friendly — it was a big plus being able to bring our cats along. The room was spacious, with a private courtyard that made it even more comfortable. The location was convenient too, just a short drive to Leura shops, Katoomba, and all the main attractions in the area (though you will need a car). The staff were lovely, and everything was spotlessly clean. Highly recommended!

The beds were quite soft—comfortable overall, but may not suit everyone’s preference. We also noticed a bit of noise on Saturday night, mainly from neighbouring room doors closing. It wasn’t too disruptive, but if you're a light sleeper, bringing earplugs might help ensure a good night’s rest.

We liked the place, but for the price they charge, for breakfast I was expecting eggs to be included in the continental breakfast without extra pay. At least one warm meal for breakfast. Many places include omlet in continental breakfast.

The service was wonderful and the rooms were very spacious! I liked the tall ceilings, and appreciated the small balcony. I also appreciated the fact I could connect my HDMI devices- such as my consoles, into the TV as some hotels don't provide this option. They provided coffee, tea and milk, as well as utensils and plates. I did not use it, but there is also an all hours amenities room if we needed something while reception was closed. There was loads of parking, and everything was wonderful! It was also quite cheap and very close to everything nearby!

The surrounding views were beautiful, but unfortunately we couldn't see much from our rooms as we were on the ground floor, on the corner of the gardens. Unfortunately the heater function on the aircon wasn't the most effective either. However, I can't be sure if that's because of just how cold it gets there.
