Facilities like pool and play area for the kids. Friendly staff and very accommodating. Spectacular view of the blue mountains!

Breakfast buffet, We've dropped some bacon and whilst we see someone with a pair of gloves and a chuck wiping the area to keep it clean I have also seen that person picked up the bacon on the same gloves and put it back into the food warmer! Cross contamination! That put us off from eating our breakfast.

The facilities, both quantity and variety, were fantastic. There were various swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor. There was a games room that provided excellent entertainment for the whole family. For the older family members, there were 3 pool tables, a library, outdoor basketball courts with outdoor gym, indoor gym and a mega slide for the young at heart! The bars and restaurants were great, serving great drinks. Not to mention a retail shop selling literally everything you may have forgotten to bring!

The accomodation was starting to show their age. So a renovation in the coming years would be necessary. There were lots of cars as expected during the school holiday peak, so the walk to the main resort building from the lowest carpark, 4 and 5, was a slightly longer walk. But the property already advised and warned us beforehand. It would be great if Breakfast was served for longer and not close 10:00am on the dot!

Staff cant do enough for you. Its great to stay if you are entered in the UTA Trail event. Buses pick up from there and staff help so you don't have to worry about transport to event start line. Its also one of the aid stations for the 50k 100k and miler so you can cheer and support the runners coming in and out of that check point. They run a BBQ in the supporters area so you can get coffee and bacon and egg rolls. Also they have everything you need their if you don't feel like going into Leura. 2 x restaurants and a cafe, gym, spa, ice rink, indoor and outdoor pool, huge indoor and outdoor play area with equipment and games for kids.

This year it was incredibly popular for support crews and spectators. The only problem was the hotel had never seen so many and they blocked one side of the entry/exit road to the motel. So trying to drive out on the saturday morning early was very difficult and parking coming back mid morning was difficult. Next year they need to put cones up to stop them parking on the entry/exit road Friday night to sunday morning and have parking kept for paying guests, use staff to keep them outside resort of a lot a parking area for visitors.

Amazing facilities - such a relaxing place for families with kids. Fee cinema with kids movies every 2 hours definitely saved our sanity. Plus Ice Skating Rink, indoor playgrounds and arcade games, amazing pool with SPA and sauna, outdoor rainbow slide… Wonderful Easter Egg Hunt organised by the Hotel and mouthwatering Easter BBQ made our family Easter stay totally unforgettable!

The water pipes were quite noisy - especially at 6am when guests from other rooms were taking showers…

We really enjoyed our stay! The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were amazing. There’s a lot to do around the property — we only stayed one night but loved watching a movie in the cinema to unwind from our day. Embers was definitely the highlight, the dinner was incredible and all of the staff were attentive and relaxed. The views from the hotel were also beautiful, we woke up to a great sunset from our bedroom window.

The TV wasn’t working during our stay due to a system error, which was a bit disappointing, but there wasn’t anything anyone could do about that. The shower head could use an upgrade, and the room service menu didn’t offer barista coffee or hot chocolate to the room, or at least didn’t mention it on the menu. We didn’t care too much to call and ask, but if it is available for room service, it would be nice to have it on the menu.

The Jenolan Suite was luxurious and beautifully situated with a view over the bushes outside. It was quiet, comfortable and gave us room to work and rest between adventures around the Blue Mountains. It was one of those once in a lifetime stays where we wanted to experience something beautiful and upmarket without the pretentiousness - and this property fit the bill exactly. Staff are extremely helpful, professional and non-intrusive. The perfect mix. The buffet breakfast was extensive. And even though the restaurant was very busy due to an on-site conference, the food was plentiful and we didn't have to wait for anything. The access to the billliards room was easy via reception and provided a really nice relaxation for us after using the gym, which although well-equipped had quite a few items missing, such as attachments for pulley exercises. Otherwise it was excellent.

Clean and comfy

When we arrived it took almost 25mins to check into . The manager ( who checked us in) was slow and non communicative and unfriendly . The Restaurant - no bookings available on the first night we arrived in the main restaurant or the golf club . We felt hotel guests should have been advised to book ahead . Not enough staff to cater for guests for Breakfast the following morning - took almost 10 mins of queuing to check in for breakfast . Had to go back and que at check in to order a coffee . The whole restaurant/ breakfast part seemed totally disorganised and chaotic . Food average - not restaurant standard .

We loved our weekend stay and experience! We have a toddler and newborn, and we were so happy with the facilities and activities available - kids train ride (one AM and one PM session), soft play gyms (1 for under 4s and another for 3+), arcade games, swimming pools, ice-skating, pond (for feeding ducks and fish. BYO bread) and model train display, just to name a few things. There are so many activities, and some come at an extra cost. The restaurants are nice, the food was nice and the staff throughout the resort are great. Many facilities open really early and close late. I can see why many families would stay here, but the crowd is a good mix of families, couples, and groups. There is something for everyone.

Although the food was good, the food menus within the hotel didn't provide a lot of different options/variety. Very simple. Another on-site alternative is the golf club bistro, but I'm not sure what the menu is like. Generally, the room was clean and presented well. The bathtub in our room had hair around the tub and stuck in the drain. It may be a one-off occurrence, but it wasn't great to see.

The room style we booked, with 2 queen beds, was excellent for travelling with a friend. These were very spacious rooms, a pleasant surprise. Very clean and comfortable. Some might say the rooms are a bit on the dated side, but who cares as long as they're clean and comfortable?

This place is a great hotel for families so if you are looking for a weekend away without small children around you might find all the kids at breakfast annoying. Having said this there was no noise at night or once in the rooms. The fruit at breakfast was not good or fresh.

I loved the beautiful location and views that surround the hotel. Very refreshing. The rooms were spotless and housekeeping done a great job. The staff were super friendly, conversing with us and helping us with anything we needed, and the concierge was very friendly. Most of all i loved all the activities for children. My son had so much to do. The cinemas, kids zone and games room, pool, the awesome rainbow slide and all the other things provided made our stay super fun and exciting. The breakfast buffet was delicious. It felt like i had travelled overseas.
