The karaoke place next to it is too loud that I can hear it from the room at night

The rooms were perhaps slightly dated but comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The service was excellent, the breakfast extensive and the pool area offered much needed relief on a hot day. Room service delivered food to the pool area too, which was great It was really easy to grab taxi's from out front, and you could walk in 5 minutes to the Ayala Shopping mall.

The only thing I could mention was that I arranged a pickup from the airport through the hotel for both parties (I booked 2 rooms for different dates), which was confirmed in writing. Neither taxi showed up, and we looked for 30 minutes. As we didn't have to pay, and it was really easy to just grab a taxi at the airport (they have flat rates, and are cheaper than what the hotel offers), this didn't really affect us, but the hotel should look into this.

The food was excellent in both the 4th floor restaurant & Miguel's on the ground floor (buffet breakfast is here). The gym was excellent for a fit conscious traveller. It is small but has everything for a full body workout, varios cardio bikes & steppers, free weights, cable plate machines, squat rack & even guys & girls separate saunas. Ayala shopping mall is a short 5 to 10 minute stroll from the hotel & Ayala Central Bloc is also just a 5 minute taxi ride.

Unfortunately, the pool was being renovated during our stay, so we missed out on that. The hotel is a bit dated but comfortable for a couple of nights. It can be a bit noisy. We were on the 14th floor & could clearly hear the sounds of traffic & the karaoke bar next door as the windows were not well sealed.

I liked the comfort level of the room and how quiet the rooms were. The bed was comfortable and close to ayala malls and a couple massage spots.

The staff at the front desk seemed preoccupied and even though i was alone, it took a while to get checked in. Lobby is noisy and theres a lot going on. Booking.com not only makes you fill out your information but then the hotel asks for the same info upon arrival which is quite annoying. That needs to be fixed. Right outside the hotel is a chaotic intersection which doesn't invite you to walk around much... get a car.

Overall stay was fantastic! We're satisfied with our stay in Cebu Parklane Hotel. Staff and personnels are very accommodating. We arrived from the airport around 3:00 o'clock in the morning from a 30-hour flight and our room was very much ready. Food was great! We enjoyed the swimming pool and live band music every Friday and Saturday.

My husband and i were just very disappointed by our booking via "Booking .com". We wanted a buffet breakfast inclusion, so we don't worry about it every day for 17 days. We are very sure that we booked for 17 days with buffet breakfast. But then as we checked in from a 30-hour long flight, only to hear from the receptionist that we only booked for a room without breakfast. I was trying to explain and show that we have also the buffet breakfast. But sad to hear from the staff that it was a COMMON problem with them and their guest who booked by "BOOKING.COM

Breakfast was great! I always look forward to breakfast when I stay here. The room was clean, a bit classic in style but it's what the hotel is known for. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were excellent. The bathrooms were cleaned daily but it was a bit too small even for me. TV and wardrobe were available for entertainment and storage. There was also a small table, a large window, and two comfortable armchairs where you could sip coffee or work. The staff were friendly and definitely accommodating.

The traffic during breakfast can get crazy because the table space is limited. It's especially true when the hotel is hosting a convention or something, there would be a long line at the restaurant so you could be seated. Elevators could also get jammed up during this time, even though there are already 3 of them available.

Room is spacious, beds were lovely. Great location to the Ayala Mall - lots of food options. If dining at the restaurant, you get a discount if you stay here. 24 hour security out the front.

Staff was very nice and accommodating the buffet was nice for the added value . Would definitely come back

The air conditioning thermastat was not working right either too cold or to hot not modulation. I felt the items in buffet needed some work and changed up to different recipes or improvement like some bananas, French toast more egg wash different recipes things good value though when I extended my stay one day, they didn't follow through with me so my key card let me know instead of staff which could have been prevented and caused un necessary delay on my way to the airport I had requested an extra day and granted two days earlier so assuming it was added to my card no body asked for payment until I was locked out . Not good

Location excellent, very central near the Ayala Mall. Good restaurant with native food. Good gym with many machines in good conditions.

No fruit juice for breakfast. There are three drink dispensers with rather original drinks: a cucumber juice (which not many people like), a blue "sugar water bomb" called "blue lemonade" and sweet iced tea. No orange juice or pineapple; no fruit juice.

The pool view was nice and the location is excellent! ayala mall was right across the hotel..The front desk was accommodating and easy to deal with in regards to our requests.. they lack of smiles but they were nice people :) .. staffs i met from elevator was welcoming.. they always greet the guests … the security guards at the basement were verryyyy nice as well.. since we stayed 4nights, they always reserved us the parking lot so it was easy for us to park without searching any vacant lot..everything was accessible..

What i got disappointed is the cleaner who doesnt want to give two bottles of water since we need to swap from the our old 2 empty bottle .but since the transfer of the room, we only got one bottle in the first place..we asked at least we could get 2 since it has to be 2… but that cleaner incharge refused.. lol.. i mean its just water which is a complimentary one but how come someone cant give another bottle .. other hotels we can even give extra bottle for the day..anyways we didnt complain about it that much since we bought our own..glad that the mall is walking distance..it is just that it was disappointing for not getting simplest request .. lol.. As a traveller, ive been to different hotels 3-5 stars but nver encountered this …
