It was a nice place to stay and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was relatively clean. Did like the convenience of the bistro being on the property to eat. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Shout out to Craig for his help and knowledge of the area.

The room was a little dusty. The fan didn't work in the bathroom and this made the whole room hot as there was no ventilation. It was a bit loud from the pub/bistro until after 12.30am. We did find the food at the bistro somewhat unpleasant. The spaghetti bolognese tasted really sweet like sugar and the pizza base was uncooked in the middle and there were too much topping. We also found the bar man very rude and unhelpful.

Leah provided excellent, friendly customer service. The room was as described, clean, and comfortable. The spacious bathroom had brilliant water pressure and good lighting. The room had good-quality white towels and linen. The air conditioner and TV worked very well. There was also a quality toaster, kettle, microwave, and essential bowls and plates. All the little things were covered down to a proper ironing board and coat hangers. I would happily stay again when in town.

The mattress felt tired

Excellent service, from arrival to departure there was a genuinely warm staff member to assist and make us feel welcome. The fridge is larger than most, there was always extra toilet paper at hand, tissues and such. The room though older, was clean, spacious and easily accessible being on the ground floor. The staff are the standout in addition to good value pricing and a restaurant at your door step.

The room was good and the facilities met our expectations. The food at the restaurant was excellent and we would be very happy to return.

The only thing that was annoying was the behaviour of other patrons who were noisy and disrespectful of other guests. Late night wandering, drunkenness and noise was annoying on one of the nights.

The room was clean and comfortable. The adjoining bar was great, play area for children, the staff all genuinely friendly and helpful and the food was exceptional (if you are hungry you will get a generous sized pub meal). We had our meals as room service, even on the Saturday night the bar was full of locals and functions, yet once we ordered we did not wait for long and meals arrived hot. This was a work trip however we are definitely discussing to come back and actually spend some time visiting the area and staying again for relaxation. Oh and regarding the room, when you are staying for longer than a night the fact they supply a toaster and microwave in the room allows you to be able to have some breakfast before setting off on your daily activities

Nothing to complain about

I had a fantastic stay at the Peppermill Hotel. The room was modern, spacious, and very comfortable , good food— everything I needed for a relaxing visit. A special mention to Leah, who was prompt and helpful whenever I had any enquiries. Her friendly and efficient service really made a difference. Highly recommend staying here!

Bistro and restaurant attached to accommodation.The bands on Saturday night and Australia Day.Friendly staff.Helpful.Nice meals, more than ample size and portions.Pool, as it was stinking hot Australia Day weekend.Good size room, very clean.A broom in cupboard would be handy.

I can't think of anything I didn't like, enjoyed my stay.

The location and convenience of having the bistro at the motel so we were able to eat without having to go anywhere after a long day of driving

The room I booked online was not what we were given. We were put into a room at the very end of the motel complex which was half the size of what I booked , our original room was given to someone else .We were stuck right next to the motel laundry and one of the cleaners tried to enter our room at 7.30 in the morning as the room was not marked on the door with a number and she thought it was the laundry. I wasn't impressed as I had booked the room weeks in advance for our travel from Qld to Victoria and its like we were given that room as an after thought because they put someone else in our room . I was at the point of requesting a refund which i did not get. The manager was very apologetic but it still should not have happened

Venue and facilities looked great, but time didn't allow us to enjoy all of them. Convenient to our travel arrangements, late check on accommodated well!

Not so much a dislike, more a case of the room was showing signs of its age in certain areas, eg there was a spa in the bathroom, but it wasn't available to use...

The staff were very friendly on our arrival. The room was a good size and had all the basic kitchen things already provided. The bed was really comfortable, firm but not like a plank. The renovated bathroom was fabulous. Even though they were full, it was very quiet, not what you would expect at a pub on a Saturday night.

The power point for the A/C didn't work but this was quickly remedied by staff with an extension lead.
