Location was very close (walking distance) to historic centre. Building secure 24/7. A short walk and you are at the Gare train station. Rooms were basic but nicely decorated. Very comfortable bed. Bathroom had great toiletries and excellent hot water pressure. Room was spotless. Strong wifi! Staff (Eric and Timothy) were superb, so kind and genuine. Thank you Eric for being so helpful on suggesting tour sites and restaurants!

Sparkling clean. Newly furnished. Attention on details. Excellence service and super warm welcome. Breakfast in the garden. I read most of the reviews and was prepared a bit myself. As it was only one night so the noise would not bother me much and i was right. What i like the most is the owners have filled the gaps of all the comments such as providing ear plug which i did not use it and a small fan during summer. The smell of the scented is soo good. I feel much better than staying in chained hotel. Feel like hole!!!

The location to Tour old town is perfect. Great for our overnight mid journey break to South of France in both directions. The hotel is basic, but very clean and comfortable with plenty of street parking. Eric is a great host. The fresh pastries for breakfast and coffee was very welcome. We will stay again when we plan a longer stay to explore Tour and the rest of the Loire valley.

I was warmly welcomed and assisted by Timothy and I was happy with my room for just one night. I was impressed with how clean and the bed was fine, nice linens. I’d stay longer but just an unplanned stop on my was to final destination. I appreciate they offer a French breakfast also so reasonably priced. I enjoyed walking to a great Thai restaurant for dinner, a lot of restaurants not far.

The communication beforehand was great. On arriving we met Eric, who was very pleasant, polite, helpful and showed us our room and explained the door code etc. He also gave us information on how to get to the old town. The room was a triple room on the ground floor and it had everything we needed for our one night stay. It was clean, the shower was powerful and hot. The bed was really comfortable. The location of the hotel was only a short walk away from the pubs and restaurants and there was free parking outside on the street. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you Eric.

The place is closed between 11:00 and 15:00, it would have been easier for me leaving my luggage there before the check-in, but it was not possible.

Very clean Staff helpful and good communication. Our train was delayed but reception waited for our late arrival.

We really enjoy our stay at Saint Eloi Hotel! The staff was extremely friendly and professional, they took the time to give us an insight of the attractions offered in the area. The room was sparkling and the bed really confortable.

Eric was the most amazing host! I'm a handicapped and Eric switched me to a room on the main floor so I could be more comfortable (since the hotel doesn't have an elevator.) Thanks for everything Eric! 😁

Superb value for money hotel in the heart of beautiful Tours. Our greeting from Eric could not have been friendlier and we would have loved to stay longer than our overnight stay. Facilities were good, bed extremely comfortable and the hotel is quiet and relaxing. Parking free on streets around hotel. Highly recommend and we will definitely return.
