It's a small but very nicely run hotel. I'm not sure but I think that when I was there that I was the only guest which I think caused the managers some difficulties (it was out of season - end of February). The two guys who run it were super friendly and helpful and there was a really nice breakfast. It's also really well located near the main street with the tram. And there are lots of nice restaurants nearby, including a Lebanese one almost next door. It's probably not the sort of hotel to go to if you like hanging about in the hotel all day as there isn't really a lounge or foyer. It's just bedroom and a breakfast lounge, but great if you want somewhere overnight and a stopping off place for visiting the area.

in the centre . great location near all the shops and near the Loire . Good breakfast with all free good of which croissant and baguette. nothing was frozen or of low quality. The rooms were clean but bing your own soap and shampoo. no AC but this is normal for a 2 star hotel. staff was ver friendly and I would go back again. This place is a great value for you r money. The thing is there is no parking so we left by 9 am when the parking in front of the hotel started to be paid . other wise even the parking was free and safe.

The hotel has a good feel. The owners are friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, in a quiet street close to the tram, the Loire and a short walk from many of the tourist attractions. The Lebanese restaurant next door is very good and there are many different types of restaurants within a few minutes walk. My room was very clean and comfortable with a French window onto a balcony with a table and two chairs and a very pleasing view over a quiet square with trees and old ruins. The room was large enough and the bathroom was new. The bed was really comfortable. Excellent value for money.

There was nothing I disliked, but people should be aware that there is no lift,. The stairs are wide and carpeted, so managing the case is not too difficult.

Even if only a two stars hotel we enjoyed it more than some three stars hotels. The owner was super-friendly, the breakfast was great, they even provided gluten free options for my wife. The bathroom was renewed and very clean and while the room looks older, it had a special charm for us, and with the exceptional cleanliness of it, there is nothing you can complain about. We got a room on the third (top) floor and it was nice to sleep (no ACs in the rooms) even when the daily temperature was in the higher twenties (early June) as the street was very quiet and you could have the window open (night temp ~16ºC). The position of the hotel was exactly what we were looking for, being in the centre and able to walk to all the places we wanted to see. Be aware there is no car park and the parking is on street (Free on Sundays).

Friendly welcome - upgraded room, complete cleanliness and well sound proofed room with working shutters, double glazing and curtains. Charming host and lovely breakfast of wide variety of buffet foods including croissants and yogurt, fresh fruit ham cheese. All staff were most helpful offering thoughtful service always with a gracious smile. Marvellous nights sleep; excellent bathroom facilities. Great location. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

The only additional item which would make it ideal is a kettle in the room because I love tea/coffee. Still Superb value for money without this small feature.

The owners were very gracious. We selected a room at the top of the building, had a little balcony giving onto quiet back side of the building. Not fancy but very pleasant and convenient for our purpose.

The parking in front of the hotel is free at night but we had to park a bit away on Paul Bert avenue to have free parking during the day.

We really liked the location and the room was very comfy with a little balcony. Staff were amazing giving us good tips about where to go for a meal. The only problem at all was that the room was in the 3rd floor and we both had heavy suitcase, but the guy from the reception was very friendly and helped us with them. I would definitely stay there again with my partner!

Ramour the owner is fantastic. He was helpful with all requests. The bed was so comfortable. Shower was great with lots of hot water for shaving. I didn't have breakfast but it really looked good. There are so many breakfast cafes in easy walking distance. Outside the hotel are 3 Restaurants and the French Lunch Bistro was excellent. Easy 5-10 min walk to the old town and historic areas.

The room I had was a bit cramped because it had such a large bed but really I have no complaints. All was good.

It was perfect for a short stay. The room was really clean, furniture was modern. Bathroom really good. It didn't have elevator, we didn't need. I would highly recommend it. Location was great, near everything. Beds were excellent

The shower was kind of small, and didn't have a place to hold the soap.

Great central location with free secure bike parking, a comfortable bedroom (with a bath!) and view over the square from a private balcony. Really friendly patron and an absolutely superb breakfast (a bargain €8) that included fresh fruit, granola, yoghurts, boiled eggs, cold meats (if unlike us you’re a meat eater), fresh coffee and great croissants and bread. Close to a huge variety of restaurants, the cathedral and the main station.
