We loved this hotel, the reception was so kind and warm, they was always ready for helps us in everything we need, the room is tiny but functional, we had a very good bed and shower, the view for the street was adorable, the cleaning was perfect, and the breakfast for 9.50 was simple but very good. We totally would stay there again and recommend it.

The only thing that we missed was a tv with channels in English because we don’t speak French and all the channels was locals.

Fabulous Hotel and should be more than 2 stars. The staff were so welcoming. Room spotlessly clean, super comfortable bed and fine quality linen. Location is perfect, close to everything but yet on a really quiet street for a great nights rest after exploring this beautiful city and surroundings.

The atmosphere of the hotel. It was quiet but perfectly reflected its location behind the Grand Theatre. Staff were lovely - warm, friendly and helpful.

My room was on the third floor, with no lift. Next time I will ask for a lower floor as I am not getting any younger!

Beautiful, cosy hotel. Rooms are comfortable, air conditioned and super quiet. Water is hot, bed is perfect. The staff are absolutely amazing! They tolerate my rusty French and there was the option of an English speaking member of staff as well. They make you feel welcome from the moment you enter. Location is unmatched. Close to rue nationale, rue Colbert (restaurants galore), parks, the cathedral and a short walk to the train station and old town. Would definitely stay again, and in fact, I extending my stay in Tours because of this little gem.

Nitpicking, but it would be great if there was a bar fridge. Also the plug in the sink got stuck easily. Absolutely minor issues.

The location was amazing, walking distance to the train station and the old part of the city. Breakfast was wonderful. Fresh pain au chocolate, croissants and baguette each morning along with juice, cheese, meat, cereal, yogurt. Staff was friendly and helpful

Everything. Modernized rooms in vintage building, comfortable size rooms and bathrooms, air conditioning that worked really well, very clean, super nice staff, good breakfast.

No parking provided at the property, but we knew that up front; they’ve got an arrangement for reduced price parking in a relatively nearby large public parking facility, but with all the other positives, the lack of on-site parking was fine with us.

Its location is very close to the train station and the Visitors Information office. Tours was nicely located to visit castles nearby and its visitors office sells tours to those without a car, very convenient.

No one at the reception at night and unclear how to contact them in case of an emergency for those whose phone only works to send texts and to browse internet while abroad.

Excellent location: few minutes walk from the train station and the old town, next to the opera. Very comfortable beds, all new and very clean, luggage storage. Perfect value for money. Check-in finishes at 7pm. It is clearly indicated on booking. The hotel also sends you a reminder straight after booking. Most importantly: A calm and quite hotel including proper windows and doors to the hotel rooms. As soon as you walk in, you notice that someone who knows the hotel business well and who pays attention to the guests' comfort is running the place. Highly recommended this hotel and will definitely come back.

Paper cups in the bathroom. Some reusable cups would be better and more environmentally friendly. Check-in should be extended until 8 pm. 7 pm is a bit too early when you are already on vacation and doing some sightseeing before coming to Tours.

This is a very nice hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and they served a really good breakfast. It’s in a great location close to restaurants and shopping. They have secure bicycle parking. We would stay here again.

My floor was a bit creaky when I walked around, I had to leave very early to get a train and was a bit worried I might wake the person in the room underneath, thinking about it now though I think it was probably the dining room underneath my room.
