The hotel was in an excellent location for everything. It was good to have parking right outside. We could walk everywhere easily. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was a good size and well equipped good to have a kettle and fridge. The reviews that we read suggesting the hotel needed updating were wrong. There was obvious evidence that work had been done to make the rooms better, plenty of sockets and availability to charge up phones etc.

The 1st night was quite noisy, another guest had the tv on from 10pm to midnight very loud, not the hotels fault but made it made it difficult to sleep, the rest of the stay was very quiet. We had a drink in the bar which we thought would be nice but the bar area didn't have very comfortable seats, I think in the warmer weather the courtyard will be nice to have a drink in. Signs of the hotel needing updating were that the towels and sheets were little frayed round the edges. But everything was clean.

The staff was very accommodating on every request and did their best to complete them. It was nice to have a cheaper choice for the “express” breakfast and was plenty for us. The location was great, walking distance to the town center but very quiet.

The lift/elevator was very old and quirky and was easy to jam if you open the door too early. The building was beautiful and older, which was charming with very high ceilings. The beds were a little stiff for my taste, but others may prefer it.

We loved how huge the room and the bathroom were! The location was perfect for walking to dinner and plenty of nightlife. The breakfast was fantastic, with a lot of variety and very tasty foods. The fresh-squeezed orange juice was amazing! The bathroom also had plenty of counter space for our vanity bags. The room was very comfortable with the air conditioning, too...the best of our entire 15 day trip. Having our own parking space on the lot was nice, so that we did not have to worry about on-street parking.

Beautiful, secluded, interior courtyard made breakfast a treat. Very quite location but in the middle of town. Close to light rail, making a trip from the train station, about 8 blocks away, very easy. Good restaurants and nightlife in the immediate vicinity. Exceptionally clean. The bathroom had a excellent shower.

Fantastic location in the centre of the old town with option to park directly in front of the hotel. Great breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice, with option to eat in the garden. Excellent staff and service. Good sized room & bathroom and good airco.

Bed was uncomfortable, hard and squeaky. Shower was very slippery with no handgrip

The location is excellent, close to the city centre and also near the highway. The room was perfect for four people, clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were lovely. It was a short stay, but really enjoyable. Highly recommended.

The elevator could definitely use an upgrade.

The hotel is in an excellent location enabling easy access to the Old Quarter, cathedral etc. It was surprisingly easy to drive to with sat-nav from north or south. No problem with parking. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are excellent! The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.

We had problems getting the air-conditioning to work in the superior room on our first stay. Our second stay in a standard room was better. We feel that booking a standard room offers the best value for money.

The staff, particularly Morgan, were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely ensuite. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from all bars and restaurants. There was very easy, secure parking for our motorbikes.

Perfect location (with parking) for cathedral, museums and restaurants. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast choice was good for pastries, cereals, and fruit, but could have had more cooked items than sausages and scrambled egg. (eg. baked beans, tomatoes, mushrooms)

The room was comfortable and clean. The people at the reception were very helpful. It's convenient to have a parking area right in front of the hotel. The hotel is very well located in the middle of town.

The bathroom was very small. My husband and I are not very tall so it was ok for us but anyone taller would have hit their heads on the roof of the shower!
