We've used this hotel previously because it is easy to get to from the A10 and yet well located for a stroll into town, the cathedral and the river. A change of proprietor since our previous visit: the owner was welcoming and helpful. We booked parking in the yard (there is street parking available, which seems safe and we've used it before). Room comfortable, with a fan for the very warm weather, though some street noise when windows were open. Comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good, with gluten-free options. This works really well as a stop-over hotel for us, and would be fine for a short city break too (Tours is lively and interesting, a good place to stay over).

All was fine, but a room away from the Rue du Petit Pré side might be optimal.

Rooms not big, but comfortable, really appreciated the fan provided as we visited in a heatwave. Good breakfast. Walking distance of restaurants and attractions in Tours. Would recommend staying here.

would have been nice if parking was included rather than extra, although it was well organised. Didn't like the single sheet toilet paper dispenser.

We felt very welcome when we arrived. Huge advantage: closed parking for cars. Hotel is small, comfy, a little bit old fashioned but very clean and comfortable. Another advantage: the situation in the middle of the lovely and lively old town. The owner gave us a map and indicated interesting places to see/visit in the short period of time we had. The breakfast was excellent for the price we paid, served with a smile in the old cellar of the hotel. We had a perfect stopover and would certainly book again if we were to stay in the region. Very good value for money.

It was all as expeted or above.

Excellent staff and location very pleasant place to stay rooms s Ass cleanliness great and it has a lift sbd som parking available - very central 6 mins walk from Central train station 6 mins walk to Hertz city car hire location - 3 mins walk to Cathedral and to Rue Colbert street full of restaurants only 1 0 mins walk to Les Halles market avd gourmet food indoor market and main shopping streets . Will definitely stay here again .

Would have liked a kettle in room / tea coffee making facilities though room service drinks were on offer . Would have liked a fridge for cold drinks s and storing meds .

The hotel is ideally located in the central area of Tours. It is relatively small and so does not offer the facilities of a larger more modern establishment. A very adequate continental breakfast is served. The hosts were delightful.

Mainly my own fault during the booking process, but we ended up with a small room on the top floor which was quite unbearably hot and the fan provided did little to help this situation. The (comfortable) double bed was against the wall, so difficult for one side to get in/out. So a word of warning to any intending guest - avoid the 3rd floor, particularly during hot weather or if in any way mobility impaired.

The Hotel du Manoir is a very nice hotel and much better than we would have expected for 2 stars. All parts of the hotel are very clean and the breakfast is excellent and in an attractive space. The staff are very helpful, efficient and friendly. Also, the location, close to the station and the city centre is very good indeed.

Our bedroom on the third floor was rather small, with access to the bed only from one side and the bottom of the bed, but otherwise well equipped and comfortable. The bathroom was also rather small but very well equipped. Notwithstanding this, my wife & I felt that the room was fine for a short stay and was excellent value for money. We fully appreciate that larger rooms on other floors were available at a higher cost.

The room was comfortable, there was an elevator so we enjoyed not having to lug the luggage up stairs. The breakfast was exceptional. The man at the front desk was extremely helpful and accommodating. He stored our luggage for us upon arrival since the room was not quite ready when we arrived.

The street noise during the night, windows were open and it was a warm night, but there were several fans in the room.

Interesting traditional urban house in great location near to cathedral / river/ chateau / old town. Pleasant, clean room in pleasant hotel. Good to be able to park in hotel courtyard, even though charges, and very tight.P

All was fine. We were on ground floor, and - during Summer - wondered whether to keep windows open, as it was so easy to enter from the street. Consider installing some bars…….

Pretty central location in Tours but the stand out factor was the staff who bent over backwards to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay and made us feel more than welcome from start to finish very good breakfast.

Nothing of significance. Being in a town meant it was a little noisier than some country locations

Location is excellent within walking distance to centre. Parking provided and easy access. Room was spotless. Very warm welcome. Would highly recommend.
